Okay, I may be a few tacos short of combination plate, brain wise so please help me understand what the complaint is:
I am cl57 and as such I have a hard time getting in a group at the MO. It happens, but since I am a casual player (i.e. can't typically be online for more than and hour or two) I usually waste more time waiting for something that may or may not happen.
I was terrified on Dant because of all the drive-bys (probably some of which were intentional) and the NPC spawns even if I did get in a group.
I was encouraged to try Kashyyyk for a group, and I found them very willing to let me in. Sure there is visibility but I have yet to see a BH (apart from ones that want in the group)
Now I assume none of that is a problem. Is the problem that I use macros as I slaughter helpless feral wookies? Is the problem that I don't get as much XP as you think I should? Is the problem that I may make a sandwich while I am 15 feet away from the keyboard? Or are you only upset if my time from the keyboard hits some magic number? (FYI, since I still crash like every 30 minutes in this game, it can't be too long)
I seriously want to know?
BTW, a minor rant: While I was ATK grinding there last night two self-proclaimed arbitars of justice decided to wage war on the "AFK Grinders" and trailed multiple wookies and spiders to our location. Even after I made it clear we were atk. Did the CSR's drop DJK on them to help us? Did they even respond to our complaints? I'll let you guess on that one.

I'm a pre-CU jedi that has ground under both systems, and I agree 100%, AFK grinding is stupid, and those who do it should have their accounts suspended for a month. Problem is how do you tell the difference between a jedi who grinds afk, and one who goes afk for 20 sec's to go take a leek.
I just have to jump in here for arguments sake.
If any of you think AFK progression in the game using macros is illegal then you're just flat out wrong. Stop thinking it and stop saying it. Educate yourself.

No. So long as no other in-game system is being abused or exploited, in-game macros are entirely supported. An in-game macro that violates our other terms and policies is still considered illegal.

So in this case since there are no bugged spawn, spawn timers, etc. the argument that it is against SOE policy for SWG is herebye abolished.

First of all why is it so terrible for jedi to afk grind, but not any other profession? Thats just ignorant to say. And suspended for doing something that isperfectly legal in game, just retarded to say.
Secondly, what difference or business is it of yours how someone else who pays for this game plays is? Get over it, its in thegame and its not leaving anytime soon.
So to all of you who think that people whopay for the game shouldnt be able to play the game how they see fit.........

Lol,
Pre-CU Jedi get good sabers, but had a longer grind.
Post-CU Jedi get crap sabers, but have an easier grind.
Which one would you prefer? I would prefer the longer grind but I didn't have a choice.
