You got that extra toon so you can still participate in the GCW without bringing your Jedi character out of hiding...
How is it that PvP causes viz, and viz brings about penalties, therefore, the very thing we get punished for is what the DEVS intended us to do?????
If you are trying to get a beer from the fridge, and your Dad catches ya and knocks ya out, does that mean thathe intended the beer in the fridge to be yours?
No, if you are being punished for something, then by golly, it would stand to reason that what you're getting punished for is NOT what you're intended to do!!!
Dlek,
Do you actually view visibility as a PUNISHMENT? A bit melodramatic there. "Visibility" is a game dynamic that is in keeping with Jedi being "outlaws". The premise is that if a person (PC or NPC) views someone using the force, they somehow report it to the authorities or underworld or someone. Yeah yeah, we can split hairs here all day about how can they report you if you kill all of them, but the original point remains. It is NOT a PUNISHMENT nor a PENALTY. It is WORKING AS INTENDED. Remember, Jedi are outlaws. We have too many who seem to think (despite of the Jedi population explosion) that we are in the age of the Clone Wars when Jedi were commonplace. We're not. We are in the time period between Ep IV and Ep V where the Jedi council is gone (and has been for 20 yrs). Consequently, any "remnants of that ancient religion" are pseudo-underworld, shadow figures. This is why we have visibility. It is not a penalty, it is BY DESIGN. Too many Jedi want to immerse themselves into PvP and PvE NPC content without consequence. Too bad. This is the way it is supposed to be. PLEASE stop complaining about it. Thgere are degrees of vis. You will in no way generate NEAR the amount of vis, killing Jantas in the booneys of Dant and John Uber-Leet chucklehead running the streets of Theed. It is Jedi, it has always been Jedi. Live with it or don't, but once again, just because you don't like something that has been in the profession for 2 years, don't try to force a profession wide change that affects thousands of others who are just fine with the current vis system.
