Its funny that no one saw this comming...remember what they did last patch? All ca's and aa's now are "supposedly" to drop off high level "which were never defined" npcs's. Guys they are taking ca and aa's out of the game. Whats next, foods?

This was announced a while back, I'm just not sure where I read it. It's not a nerf though, its a fix, even though it will suck for many.

This is a crazy thread to have .... c'mon guys think about it ...

Here we have a post with over one hundred replies, based on a simple and vague rumour that one guy has "heard from somewhere". WHERE? Who told you?

I bet it's based on an in-game discussion started by one guy saying "Hey, I hope they don't remove 0 condition clothing one day". This then becomes "Oh God they are nerfing 0 condition clothing and they won't even allow me a one-off repair, and this sux so much and its so unfair and I really really hate the devs for this and now i've wasted millions".

What's the point ? It's totally ridiculous. Complaining and criticising the Devs for something that has not happened and probably never will.

I like the fix personaly. I'll lose some skill tapes honest. But I'll deal with it. I think this will have a change to the ingame economy to. Just curious how it will play out.

While I agree that 0-condition clothings should not be working, the fact remains that SOE's sense of priority is TOTALLY out of whack.

This isn't gamebreaking. Never has been.

Speed not working is gamebreaking.

Exploiting cooldown/warmup timer is gamebreaking.

No premie pearl/crystal drop is gamebreaking.

Vendors never saving informations everytime you patch the friggin game is gamebreaking.

Adding snare/root/paralyse to everything you deem "too powerful" instead of actually fixing things are gamebreaking.

Armorsmiths not being able to cater to their customer's desire to have various color armors readily in vendors because factories won't save selected color pallettes is gamebreaking.

I could go on all day.

They are not prioritizing their bugfixes properly. I'm sure all of you will agree to this.

Business as usual at SOE.

My only real question now is, how long will customers put up with the blatant disregard the game developers seem to have for players.

It is astonishingly disgusting.

think about it guys. since ca's got moved to undescribed or undefined "high level npc's" that dont exist in the game yet, after you loose your ca's and cant find anymore of them. are you going to buy clothes again or go to the new robes comming out? you will never buy a new peice clothes for pvp or pve again. this hurts the tailors and be business terribly. another fine example of how soe doesnt look ahead.

Not everyone is jedi and wears the robes, my smuggler wears non-BE clothes with no attachments in them when he is walking around non-combat and interacting with other people.

I enjoy getting the look of my characters right and i was a tailor with my alt for a while i enjoyed it so i hope this will reinstate some more business their way.

I would love to see tailors given more schematics and special schematics which may not add anything to combat but would look cool.

nez, this is a jedi forum, so i just pose this quesiton to jedi....if i was going to address differnet proffesions i would have done it in their forums.....so dont come in here and critisize posts because you think that its intended for other proffesions to answer. use a little common sense before you reply next time...ok?

My post wasnt a criticism of your post i was purely stating that some people use clothing for a look for their character not just as combat mods, im a jedi who likes to look good and this creates a feel for her.

My jedi also wears normal clothing which doesnt have any mods on it and im ok with that, though i do have mods on certain clothes but if i was to lose them they dont take anything from my characters look because i can find a tailor to make me what i want.

As for common sense it makes no sense that decay has no effect on clothing it should do and if this thread is correct it will do in the future, so many jedi are asking for consequences to be added and forced on player's congratulations you now have one which effects everyone equally.

As a former tailor I think this fix is a good thing and one which has been needed for a while and for those who may lose expensive items feel lucky you were able to use them for as long as you have done without it becoming redundant.

It is if you are a tailor.....

I'm a tailor on Bloodfin. I still say it isn't gamebreaking. People who invest in SEA'ing their clothes almost always ADK it anyways. Other people just ignore red backgrounds and 0-condition clothes and still wear them anyways.

Fixed or no, it's not going to change anything except piss the people off that has conditionless ubese shirts and mabari belts (providing this also gets fixed in this patch). It'll also piss the people off who wants far more important things in this game to be fixed that actually have an impact on how the game is played.
