Good info....lots of good template ideas....everyone should just use your information to simply pick and choose according to thier play styles. My jedi has a template very close to one of your single mastery templates including MLS, 4204 healing, 4003 Enhancer and 4000 defender and it is working quite well for me.

I won't be able to update the guide with all the latest feedback until tonight at the earliest, maybe not even for a couple days (lot of work this week), but I will update it as soon as I can to reflect all the good input here.

I'm MLS, powers 3332, healing 3004 atm, and working on Master Powers. The biggest issue i'm having atm is managing my force pool. High force costs for force powers (one would think being a Force Powers master you'd learn how to manage your force better )

Low damage, High force cost, long delays, are really killing the profession and desirability of the profession. It would be alright if two of three of those issues would be attended to, but as it is, only die-hard are actively looking at mastering the profession.

Also the Master Powers box is looking weak (much like all the others) Mind trick is a joke, Force knockdown 3 would be great if Thakillo didn't exist , and force choke would be great if it did the same damage as the nightsister equivelant.

Great posts. Hope it gets added to the rest.

Probably too many other stickies lol. And our correspondent has 'retired' sadly.

It would be nice to see a general 'Information post' stickied with a compiliation of posts for :

Path to FRS

Training up a Padawan

FRS

We have 3 main 'systems' to the Jedi system now, so it would be good keep clean them up and keep them seperate. Heck, even splitting up into 3 boards isn't a bad idea.

Great Post... I had originally started with the FOTM... Master Lightsaber, Master Enhancer, 4/0/0/4 Healer. But after seeing how messed up the FRS is, I decided to switch my character to Master Lightsaber, Master Defender, 4/0/0/4 Healer (this was prior to the publish 10 nerfs). It just made more sense for my character as I'd rather roleplay a Jedi and assist my guildmates / friends with difficult tasks and quests than trying to hunt down any and every overt I came into contact with.

Oh... and 5 stars to you!!! Great Great Post.

Your take on the Powers line is an eye opener to say the least.

But as a side note i know someone who has master powers.

Master powers tends to be a very situational template.

One of the things she has found useful is drawing her opponents into an area with lots of really nasty critters. The upside here is that most BH's tend to not wear armor because of lightsaber AP issues. Several times she has gone up against unarmored elite melee templates and won because she was able to use a force knockdown and get the local wild life to pound the crap out of an unarmored helpless target.

I think this is a great use of the powers tree..but it is situational. You have to really lure your opponents into a situation like this.

But for the most part a BH will wait for a Jedi to be engaged with a mob before attacking this gives her an advantage in the situation. Most of the time she will get tells of WTH! from the Bh when the creature she is fighting all of a sudden makes a beeline for him once he is knocked down.

I like this

Ooooh, that's nasty. Glad to hear Master Wielders can have some fun.

I will incorporate all the latest feedback into the guide, but unfortunately not til tonight.

I should be pretty well rounded like this.. even if I do have to give up some of Master Defender...

What do ya think ?

i am going for this template as well , except i am getting novice brawler instead of the wound / battle fatigueline in healer . i find intimidate priceless for both pvp and pve .

Definitely the second one - having all that free intimidate and warcry ability will help you a bunch. The wound/BF healing is great against DoT users, but warcry and intimidate will hurt them more than you keeping your BF down.
