I'm a MP MDef heal 3/x/x/x Enh x/x/x/2 and when they snare and run past 32m (already having Force Valor up and my showroom floorlightsaber display) I wait til they get to about 51m out then I cloak. Then they get this smart idea to charge in and drain my force as if I was stupid enough to stay cloaked. When they're about 40m out I hit knock down to ...knock them down (no surpirse there) and uncloak. Then I charge them and choke/lightening/weaken whatever til they can get up. Lather , rinse, and repeat. I could care less if they snare me or root me. My biggest pet peeve as a Powers player is that "I" help build his "Aggro Army" against me. Usually not deadly just annoying.

Why arent some of the old true BH's complaining about all this. I know the Jedi haters and respec BH's like the idea of an easy kill and easy money... but where are the BH's that took up the profession for a true challenge. This is as much game breaking for them as it is for Jedi.

They are, I have seen some in threads. Only problem, the whiney respec's are a lot larger number than the old school BHs now.

Yep

A huge problem....i remember the days of BHs fighting with honor and respect.

A loadscreenkill or AFK kill...what shame, NEVER took place, NEVER happend (there are always jerks...ok)

Today i get plaque already when i examine a toon, 3 badges and a prof-list like:
Has mastered...
-BH prof
-CM-Prof

THATS IT.

Like "Mommy...can u buy me...."
Then they started a BH/CM grind in the spingroup and after a few days (weeks for INV) the send tells like "Wazzup bro, i after u, i killz u and l33t yo..." when u read them same time in the BH board like "How do i pull a Jedimission and where?"

Dont get me wrong, you BHs out there with honor and a numbers like 367 when u do /GetVet...im just pis...with all the smacktalking respec-kids ruining the game, hope u understand (and yes, i played BH myself, not respec'ted)

And yes, the "real BHs" are VERY annoyed by these changes, their fun will be taken away with the "i win too easy" button the upcoming patch(es) will bring.

I am just so sad to see, that this once nice and mature community is changing to the "usual" "no fee" MMORPG (with exceptions to the rule).

When u see the BH board nowadays, its full of "cool kills"-storys (like afk in cantina or loadscreen on laghell MO etc.) : Storys i would NEVER post cuz they are too cowardly (what skill do i need to kill some1 while loading ? *cough*)

The BH will miss right - from time to time? And when he does you can burst run off.

The BH should have a belly full of food and you less so - so you can scoff nutcake 4 or 5 times. Just **edit** into a lake and log off quick.

Don't go into the water with the BH close because you cannot heal while swimming and log quickly otherwise his droid may cause you some hassle.

Yep...to get in his CM/apply range where he will simply throw it off a second time, till it sticks, i did exactly this yest. to a guildie, when my first snare missed. The Melee-toon wouldnt do the "deciding damage" in this little window, so no difference if i hit the first or third time.

Says who ?
Every other prof, also Jedi, is full of defense, accuracy, dodge, regen food. You get your food sometimes by the diff. of filling 24 or 25, so dont expect a Jedi NOT tohave a full belly....and now(again, this is an ALL-Melee problem, not only Jedi) these profs are even "molested" with another food ?

Now since chain/permasnare has just hit the Live servers, let's end the speculation and post actual tactics that work despite all the nerfs and changes introduced today.

Any takers?

The snare changes aint so bad..if the attacker goes LD

Other than that I must say its retarded and dumb and I doubt this **edit** will last longer than 3days on live servers

LOL 80m paralyze! They have to get within 5m to paralyze and snare + they..... well all healers are getting nerft as well so we will have to see, if it even comes OUT. They have withdrew the patch when it hit TC and when they was going live.

10m, I got that down pat now on my CM 4-0-0-4 alt.

So, now that the fun is live anyone have any tips?

This a joke. The Dev's have made it official: Jedi are no longer valued customers in SWG. Elite Professions are now 1.5 times as powerful as us.
