1. The visibility system needs to be altered to conform to the CU, meaning that your group mates do not automatically create it (they are PC's after all) but can do a /reportjedi to generate it. This means you CAN group grind, but will still have to be VERY careful about who you grind with...

2. Visibility needs to decay over a shorter period of time, say, 1 week.

3. If Jedi are to continue to be reduced in strength, then perhaps it's time to lower the XP cost of boxes, raise the level of Jedi xp gain, and eliminate the XP loss for BH deaths.

4. Lightsabers should outdamage by 1.5x at master any other melee weapon profession.

5. 80M range arms should be nerfed out of PvP. Make their effect PvE only.

1. Master/Padawan Relations to be introduced. Don't make them nessicary but benefical. Be an awesome thing to see in the jedi profession.

2. FRS. Show a stronger diversity between the Light and Dark Jedi, but also make them Balenced before introduction into the game.

3. Customization of Robes. Let us decide the Design and skill modifiers. Let the design and skill modifiers be determined by our rank. Along with Skill mods let it be things like...Force power Max, Saber Speed, Healer enhancements. Things like that. Lower ranks will have access to a limited amount of things and also will have lower bonuses.

4. Balence of the disicplines within the boundrys of the Devs promises. If it's suppose to be 1.5 times as strong as a regular character make it so. Right now with the way things are pretty close to that. I have been attacked by tons of solo bounty hunters and have won. We're deffinately stronger than one normal profession. I've had 2 bounty hunters attack me and I ran like a scared dog.

5. Action, Mind, Force Bars. Something needs to be done. The force bar will Always limit us to how long we can fight. And it's understandable that it should be that way. But with Sabers taking up action and heals taking up mind, Our other two bars that "shouldn't" mean much to us is going to limit us more so then our force bar. It's like saying this highly trained, highly disciplined Jedi Knight who worked very hard for his rank is getting exhausted at a few mere swings of his saber.

I have alot more to say...and I wish I could. But I'll remain within the limits of the question.

Hope this helps you guys out. Or at least what I say you guys take to heart a little bit of it.

This would give one VERY wide variety in hunting Jedi, who know's what you will get and woulddefinately evenit out.


4. Saber Block and any other skills, titles, robes, accomplishmentsnot gained because of FRS. You know, not everyone that plays an MMO or even plays SWG or owns a Jedi does it for the PvP. There are plenty of us that have always and will always prefer PvE. Outside of the occasional BH hunt I am strictly PvE. I wanted to be Jedi to BE Jedi--to wield a lightsaber--to shoot lightning from my hands--to run almost as fast as a speeder--to force choke npc's or mobs, not be forced to PvP. Yet in order to get anywhere with my profession I will be forced to PvP. No other profession is chained down because they choose/prefer not to PvP.


5. Content content content. Jedi specific missions. Problem solving. Assassinations. Border disputes. Peace bringing. War starting. Instead of PvP, why not Jedi content that upon completion moves us through the ranks....




now THAT is a good idea!! sounds really fun.

1) Jedi/BH system fix - For the love of Pete, please fix this! Personally, I wouldn't mind seeing my guild or group members able to fight with me against a BH. BHs are very powerful right now and only a full templated Jedi can really deal with them. (at least that's my point of view...which is most likely wrong. haha) If it's going to be 5 on 1...then give Jedi some back up...like their guild members coming to help or whatever. My guild made our city a stronghold for me to boost my defenses...and though it wasn't a "I win" button, it put me on even ground with the BH. So outside help would be great!


2) Content - maybe a new quest based planet that is specifically made for Jedi? Like Dagobah? This would move Jedi away from the main population (who apparently hate us). Then again, the BH situation would be different...for that I have no answers. Maybe give BHs something else to hunt other than Jedi? Last I checked, they didn't just hunt Jedi. Back to Jedi, Instead of the village (which I've always thought that the long grind was just unncessary), maybe make the Jedi adventure a quest based grind. More like Kashyyyk I suppose. It's a sketchy idea, but an idea none the less.


3) Visibility - This kinda links to #1. Anyway, the visibility system is really messed up right now. I would rather they fix this then make my lightsaber more powerful at the moment. Now that I think about it, this could be #1, but I don't feel like cutting and pasting at the moment. Lazy? You know it!


4) Master/Padawan Relationship - This has quite a bit of potiental. Related to #1....sorta. This could be the reenforcements I was speaking of. Where a Master could help protect a Padawan. Though, as of publish 19, I'd need a lot more thana full templated master to help me against a BH. (actually, I can handle myself fine now, I'm just being a whinny Jedi)


5) Elemental Damage - Just turn it on...isn't it like a light switch or something?


6) Healing - I know, I know... Only 5 Jedi Wish list items, but I just had to put this in. DON'T MAKE MASTER HEALERS NULL AND VOID!


Ahh, I feel better....


Those are my opinions. They are subject to flaming, but I would LOVE it if no one would do that. I burn easily and I prefer cold weather. So let us keep the flames on a low roar.

1) Remove the warm-up timer on power strike. All warm-up timers are cancelled when you move... and what do BHs do all the time? Thats right, they move.


2) Increase our damage in PvP and PvE. Since everything resists our sabers we are getting less and less damage done and a riflemen can do +1000 damage while we do +500.


3) Increase our speed dramatically. When the CU went on TC and were said in the forums, the devs said we would be fast and deadly. A riflemen is as fast or faster then us and does WAY more damage.


4) Make SAC and force cost on saber specials very low. The force bar is very slow regen and it can get drained pretty fast between healing, powers, and attacks.


5) Make the cooldown/execute timers the same on healing. Im sure EVERYONE can live with just action/mind costs


I have more but you said top 5 and these are mine.

1) the ability to kick arse AND take names, not the skill points to do one or the other. The current skill point restrictions are too tight if we are to be accpeting a "lesser power" role in the overall scheme.


2) A free token respec for ANY class that is "balanced" in any way in any publish. This "balance pass" after the "respec to the new balanced disciplines" period has ended is just short of a slap in the face. No class should be forced to use their "one time only gift" token respec to adjust to curves thrown at the player base. That respec is an earned " I changed my mind" ticket.


3) COMMUNICATION. My god. Mushrooms get treated better.


4) High end content. Either give us the FRS back, or allow us to be included in the current high end content. with grouping a must and vis the way it currently works Jedi are precluded from alot of things.


5) Please stop watering down my proffesion. I unlocked in Feb of '04 and with each passing publish and upgrade I watch us get weaker. At first some penalties were stripped to compensate, and lately thats happened again, but even that isn't enough. Do not make us any weaker, whatever the prize.

1. Damage on sabers is very low compared to other professions even with the best pearls, I feel either sabers need a damage increase to be on par with swordsman or the lightsaber specials need an increase in the multiplier so that we don't end up fighting for 3 hours...


2. The Resistance line in enhancer is mostly useless as the +25 increase to the resistant stat is pretty much marginal...


3. MLS needs work, Dervish needs to be truely an "ultimate attack" with FC being lower or damage being higher, also MLS needs to have a single attack.


4. Regain Counciousness is a useless ability with the -50k penalty and the fact it costs so much force... it either needs to be replaced by something useful or the force needs to be reduced and -50k needs to be removed. This power in its current form does not belong in a master box.


5. The master box in healer needs some love, Total Heal is just not enough to warrant taking 2 extra trees in healer to get.

I agree completely. I love that Idea. rest of it I don't though. lol. But this is an opinion thread.

1. Better communication vehical with the developers......We want direct access to pre-publish nerfs and or enhancements


2. A JEDI is a superior class, keep it so......Discontinue any and all nerfs to JEDI, we have been balanced enough, let us figure out what is best and then move forward as a group.


3. Knight/Padawan relationship needed........this can be so huge that it can make everything else so insignifacant.


4. Lightsaber does damage.........make this better, how in the heck could any DEV be allowed by LUCAS to live let alone continue calling this STARWARS if a Light Saber is not the most powerful weapon in the game is beyond me. Not looking for UBER just a little better or at least equal.


5. The ability to add skills after we max the 250 SP...........this can come in many different ways and all should be considered, a) FRS system that gives usenhance skills as progression is achived b) lower the exp needed amounts on the skill boxes.....these are way to hig and need to be brought in line with other professions (only use this if they are going to keep us 1.5 better).

Wow, there are so many good ones. Here are mine...



  1. Limit Jedi involvement in the GCW. This can go hand in hand with added Jedi content. We pay the same as normal classes but have double the content access as normal players. We can't expect Jedi specific content if we can still access the same content as everyone else.

  2. Increased speed of Jedi attacks. When you can count time between Jedi saber attacks, honestly, they are too slow. Show me one instance that is not Original Trilogy of slow, ponderous battles.

  3. Faster Force regen all around. Nothing more needs to be said here.

  4. A DEFINITIVE word from the Devs about Visibility. Is it still going toexist for grouped players trying to grind XP or what? The silence on this issue is causing me to not grind. A word or something.

  5. More fixes, less nerfs. Make the Jedi class one that HAS to hide again and you will limit the needs for nerfs. If a Jedi has to operate outside the hunting group his is with, he is placed at risk from Imperial NPCs. This should apply to both sides, Dark Jedi and Jedi, Colonel or not. Fact is, Palpatine said ALL Jedi are the enemy of the Republic/Empire. There are clearly no exceptions to the rule, let's start enforcing it a bit.

I would just love it if the Devs had clue one about Jedi. This Blixtev guy showed his rear withsome of his comments about Star Wars. No clue at all.

1/. Fix to the visbility. Grouped comrades should not give visibility

2/. Return of the cone to Advanced Saber Throw - it is our only ability to counter multiple ranged opponents

3/. An FRS system that is quest-based

4/. An FRS system that allows you to choose whether you want to be overt or not (but provides penalties, like only limited participation in the GCW if you choose not to be overt).

5/. An FS-unlocking system that combines the old profession grinding system with the new Village system but with an inbuilt 'decelerator' in that players can only take one new profession every five days if they wish that profession to count as part of their FS unlocking.
