The pvp community consists of about 5-10% of the players. Go figure.

If the new FRS is not pvp based then I will throw in the towel, that would just be the last straw.
do the trials, drop urout, keep ur titleand friendly duel ppl in MO like pre cu then
MsNil never said anything that relates to what you say. You seem to be talking about roleplaying, not PvE.
What she said is true though, PvP'rs are the minority.

To me, the FRS should be a test of loyality to the dark or light side, as well as a measurement of your commitment to SWG as a game. PvP IS an aspect of SWG, and it needs to be a part of the FRS, but I really do hope it's not the whole thing.
I'd like to see several paths in the FRS, perhaps one that is built for pvp-centric players and another that is built for pve-centric players. Both are balanced and offer equal opportunity and challenge with the same rate of advancement, but cater to different play styles in the SWG Universe.
Hope it's a homerun. For me personally, the FRS will either add something amazing to my gaming time I spend here, or be an unattractive aspect of the game I don't participate in. I really hope it's the former.
/salute
Who said it had to be all 100%about killing stuff. Some people that play this game didnt come from leet FPS games "Boom Headshot!" but would rather be involved ina storyline thathas more of astarwars feel to it thenjust thetypical MPOG. It's the people who only wanna be leet that ruined the game for the people who do quests.IMHO the questers and explorers make the larger percent of the game. Let those people have there fun because this game would suck without em telling us how to do the quests.

Lol! The main problem is the game is so bug ridden and full of exploits how the feck can you have a fair FRS based on PvP? Not all of us enjoy it anyway, and most of the time its just a gank either way. Bring me some cool quests like the other poster said are time gated and impossible to exploit.
If you enjoy running around around Starports carry on, but thats not my idea of what the FRS should be about.
so your idea of the frs will be to kill some little crappy mobs that you can probly kill in about 5 mins

This is not about me. It's about supporting 80-90% of the players instead of a small minority.

She is fairly accurate. PvPers, naturally, all tend to congregate together in-game (since they kind of have to). Any one major battle in Theed, we'll say, is naturally going to give the impression that there are a lot of PvPers, when in fact there are still plenty of people on other planets who are NOT PvPing. Furthermore, PvPers tend to use the forums a lot more than non-PvPers I noticed...most likely in the hopes of getting information on how to improve their game...so that illusion of a PvP "majority" is created again. In my personal experience, I know more people who PvE than those who PvP, and this coming from an ex-nightly PvPer.
As I said above, I would ideally like a PvE quest-based FRS to be combined with some type of PvP one. I don't see why it can't be both. Maybe just make it so that a PvE Jedi can still advance in levels, but someone who is going beyond and fighting in PvP will be more powerful (or whatever they plan on "rewarding" us with).
Oh, btw. We need a pvp server, and give you bunch your own forum where you can whine and argue who's the most powerful.

coming from you is abit hypocrit can remember reading a post you posted going on about how people exploited there sabers because they damaged you to much and how good people sabers was.
in otherwords you don't pvp because you don't think you have a good enough saber most likely so decide to try flame the people who do but your flames are funny because most the time they just show you have no clue.
Yup. I meet, chat and play with theese people daily. I would estimate the total pvp players to100 out of several thousands of players on my server. Of theese, it's rare than more than 40 is pvp'ing at the same time... but that's always what I find whenever I land on Kashyyyk starport.
