They are quite happy to ruin us, and sad as it is, I cant see them fixing it. Just takes me one step closer to quitting.
If any of you guys quit, can I buy your jedi? Cya'll on ebay I'm sure. BTW, just f*cking with ya'll. I'm a master saber master def healer 4x4x temp myself so I don't bother with powers much, but ya'll have my sympathies. We're all getting hit with stealth nerfs, but even I'll admit you guys are getting the shaft more than most other temps in the game nowadays. Hope one of these days the devs get their sh*t together or this game is just gonna hit the fan and there won't be much left IMO.

Also the fact they couldn't even be bothered to tell us in the patch notes and left us to find out on our own just added to my annoyance.
I had a lot of fun here in my 18 months of playing, made some good friends (who have all but left now, this being another reason for me to go). For those who stay, I hope they give you a break. I just don't have the patience to pay them anymore money and wait for them to sort out what this game is meant to be.

Completely pointless, yet annoying, stealth nerf. Is anyone really surprised? This is par on the course for Publishes.
I'll be using the macros, and thanks very much to Penguinzx for providing that workaround.If creativity and cleverness were valued by the SWG project managers, they'd hire him/her.

Heh, so they did nerf Hybrids.
Master Swordsman, Master Defender, Healer 4/x/x/x here. I have noticed no change, and hadn't heard there was one, but this thread has notified me otherwise. I am able to use Force Aura, Force Infusion, Force Heal, Avoid incap, all while wielding either my incredible PH, or my awsome Nk-Executor (explained many times before, I know, but this is restate for anyone skipping to the end). I guess my stance on only using the Force for healing and Defense worked to my advantage, as I am not nerfed in the least. Well, the snare/root thing is gonna be annoying, but at least my character is not weaker in any way.
Tips for Hybrids: Get Force Defender and Healer, and make all your offensive skills a normal combat proff, it WILL pay off.

Oh ya, when Obi Wan picked up a rifle, he no longer could use the force... Oh wait, he ALWAYS could use the freaking force.
Bad enough armor is restricted, now this? And yet Vader runs around in armor, NS have armor on, and all the Jedi Skills at their disposal now.
How much more un-realistic can you make Jedi before you just give them a glow in the dark lightsaber night light for their house, before deleting the account?
----Anyone in SOE or LucasArts Land have a brain?

Not surprisingly, this thread is getting lost-in-the-sauce with all the other stuff that's going down right now.
So, let's sit back and watch. Anyone have some popcorn? Unless of course, the use of popcorn negates my Force powers, in which case I think I'll pass...

This kinda kills us nightsister RPers who can no longer wield a melee weapon while using force powers. Nothing more blatantly requires a force sensitive player to buy into the lightsaber tree than this change.

This is kinda off topic but for ages now, soe has been adding slient nerfs/changes and maybe tweaks (wouldn't count on it) to stuff whenever they do a publish or patch and haven't given out publish info including them, like pearls drop rates, when theyupped the spawns,theylowered the pearl drop rates to such a degree that's it's not worth it.
A mate of mine spoke to a guy and his group and they had looted 1 pearl in 40 kills.
I think this has been going on since may/june area. This game and the devs is becoming very cloak and dagger now

The testing I've seen so far indicates that all TKM weapons are classes by the game as "empty handed" so yes, they still work with powers.

flame me if you want, but i think this "nerf" was caused by bh/jedi hybrids using high power weapons and the relativ strong dot attacks form master powers and some jedi healing (don't have run the numbers if it is possible to do mbh/mp/ healer3/0/0/0 ,if it is not possible the bh must have wined that jedi can fire back and higher range then 32m)) to kill jedi(so jedi have wined). the attacks from master jedi were supposed to be at the level of the saber attacks(they arn't realy i know but they are still quite powerfull), they have had the powerfull attack of the weapon, the powerfull dot, a good healing and a good defence from duelist stance and almost no trouble to maintain an attack and heal because they only use the force for some dot attacks and the healing, while the attacks just come from action pool. so the regular jedi is supposed to run out of force.
maybe they should have just increased the force cost for the offencive skills while holding a other weapon then the saber and not restrict it at all.
or don't allow jedi hybrids at all but make starting jedi level 80 or near level 80 so they don't have to regrind from level 1 by exp cost as high as they are now and give them a little more power.
the whole problem of this game is that is hard to balance the professions when you mix them all, the summe of the parts is more then the parts alone
