Well what's even more disurbing to me is this fact:

If they don't lower the stats on the looted weapons from Mustafar when it goes live, and stick with thenon-tradeable items deal...... that's basically forcing every player's hand to buy the expansion or they will be outgunned, outslashed, and outhammered when people start using those weapons in pvp..

The new squad leader buff whinesounds like the Jedi equivalent of the base hiding whine. It's not that they can't do the same thing (since any declared player can enter any base), it's that it's too much work to do the same thing.

Those overpowered looted weapons aren't as powerful as they look even if they do go live. My heavy lightning rifle currently is only about 15 DPS weaker than the rifle everybody's panicking about and and my SAC is nowhere near as high so I can already use more special attacks.

For what it's worth, I do understand and appreciateyour concerns. I have created a special focus thread over in the Squad Leader forum to discuss the impact of the upcoming Squad Leader enhancements on general PvP and the Bounty Hunter vs. Jedi conflict. You all can feel free to keep discussing it here, or you can move it over there. However, be advised that from here on out the focus threads in the Squad Leader forumare the only ones I'll be following and reporting on.

Look man frankly i dont really care what your defense is but the facts are jedi is borked and keeps on getting more borked. why are we even included in this game anymore just let us roam around in our little dead end world doing our little dead end thing.

I mean its crap enough we still have to deal with BHs now we gotta deal with another prof. guess they needed some place to throw ya guys since its been busted since launch might as well throw ya in the BH/Jedi mess since its such a great system..

Facts are everyone is tired of seing jedi and im tired of seing everyone else i hate the group grind i hate being forced to group with other profs that have skills that should be stricly used for theGCW and have no business in the Jedi vrs BH.

I see it now bring a SL for def and off buffs. bring a doc along,heal ya, bring a pike or swordsman to deal dmg and a rifleman for ranged attacks andthats just so my jedi can walk to the star port and not get waisted by some brutal artisan guy or dancer.

As a jedi i just want the dead end to stop! as a MBH i want to be able to pull other MBH for missions.. I killed jedi when they where jedi and id rather have a challenge now and kill other BHs

The process is as follows:

1-Unbalanced patch goes live

2-Jedi Forum goes insane, new threads end up on second page 20 seconds after posted.

3-DEVs, SOE, all ignore forums for a week or 2 for people to chill out a bit

4-Whatever got updated gets nerfed in the following weeks

-5 Anywhere from 3 to 5 weeks after patch went live, jedi return to flaming each other while BH add fuel to the fire (in other words, a normal day on the jedi forums)

So I wouldnt worry about it. Make sure you got some chips around and watch the show.

Ok, time to wake up, lemme draw a situation for you:

1. BH pulls mission from term
2. BH identifys Jedi
3. BH gets SL buff (not important for now where, how etc - assume SL is grouped in range even for now)
4. BH is CM
5. BH is docbuffed

Your statement (above) is not practicable cuz it would assume the Jedi is "preventive" having a SL in group/tail which
keeps the Jedi permanent defensebuffed, which (of course) is far from every reality.

So its causing (finally) a situation that the BH (cause he IS preparing - cuz he knows when, where and how to strike)
is fully buffed with all buffs the game offers and the Jedi has the HUGE HUGE disadvantage to NOT have these defensebuffs
permanent on his toon.

So wazzup doc ? CU ? Balance ?
See where it is leading to AGAIN (sigh):
3467 diff. buffs ingame which the BH can make use of and the "poor mark" (aka Jedi) has to fight against this overwhelming
strikeforce with his crappy saber, wasting his force/action/mind to counter the first strike ... after he got chainsnared and spammed
to death anyway.

Forget it, this game is more then dead when this goes live, its easy to see, no matter what "pinktalk" is trying to draw it "its ok",
THE GAME IS DEAD WITH THESE CHANGES - and this is not only for Jedi/BH, its for ALL combat and PvP.

The SL will be a "needed buff ho.." in the groups in future (yep, i am Master SL on my alt too, dont get me wrong).
What was pre-Cu the dancer/musician/doc is post-Pub24/ToW the doc/SL/CM.

It is amazing, how SoE is leading themselfs "ad absurdum" in the same year even, the CU is sposed to better/balance all.

The ONLY really meaningfull workaround would be, that a BH loses ALL SL-bufs the moment, a "mark TEF (aka BH Tef) becomes
active, same for the Jedi.

IS THAT EASY ? ...yep..maybe TOO easy
