Stupid question: Can someone explain experimentation technique? Should I use experimentation points one at a time with more Bespin Port after each experimentation attempt or group them say 8 into efficiency the first experimentation attempt and remaining 2 into damage then second experimentation attempt?
Cheers,

You can do the 1 point at a time method, or if you have extra resources put 8 points into efficiency. Craft a new saber and do that until you get an amazing success. If you don't get an amzaing trash the saber and start over. Then put the remaining points into damage.
Putting all of your points into efficiency won't help. On my server the hard cap for fc is 48 and the hard cap on sac is 95.
Well, if you talking about FORCE COST here, you have no clue what you are talking about. If you are talking about action, same thing. I am MLS and I can tell you, it takes more then a second to regenerate the Action (took 13% of my pool) and FORCE COST which it takes about 55 or so. And if i could regen 55 force in less then a second duringcombat, My force pool would seldom run dry.

As a professional saber crafter I applaud your guide. I would however update it to include SAC. On bria, I have heard tales of the 94 SAC but the best I have achieved is 95. As a 10 point smith, that leave me one exp point to put into damage which using the best resources on server gets me to 244 damage. Anyway, from all the sabers I have made (all using best resources) that appears to be the best stats you can get without using the village rewards.
Anyway, the bottom line is, it is helpful to newer crafters to identify the SAC costs as they start rather high before experimenting down AND i have found that even when I get FC of 48 I sometimes still have an SAC of 98-100.
Special Action Cost...
If you do a Dervish, which would be the most expensive attack you can do, a max experimented saber vs a no experimented saber will make a 1-2% difference max, which is regenerated in less than a second.
Ofcourse, this might have a minor effect on a MLS, but very minor on non-mls. Check the specials cost and see that its only dervish that costs alot of action/force, and the cases in which Dervish is truly useful is not too common.
Opinion?

I used an ADK on a saber I make before and using this guide I made a much better one.
I do not see the ADK in the old saber. When I used it, I had a color and clear crystal in it. Do I need to put those crystals in to get the ADK back?
HOLD UP!!! READ THIS BEFORE YOU FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS!!!
First- REMOVE all pearls/crystals from your saber BEFORE you reclaim your ADK. To get your ADK back, you have to DESTROY your saber that is using it. That's right DESTROY. You lose the item that you have the ADK on, to reclaim your ADK. So you want to get your pearls/crystals out of the saber before you do that. Then put your new saber in the ADK and apply the ADK. Then put your pearls/crystals back into the new saber, after you applied the ADK to it.

Two questions...
1) Before I use my Flawless Pearls and ADK to craft my hopefully perfect saber I should have at least what in skill level and a recommended what?
2) How can I be sure to have as many Experimentation points as possible?

He was talking about SAC, and he's talking about a percentage difference. If your attack used 13% of your action, he was stating that there would be a 1-2% difference overall. This would mean that your attack with the lower SAC saber would be something like 11-12% (I assume, rather than 1-2% of 13% which would still be 13%...).
He was stating that this additional 1-2% would be regenerated quickly, not the ENTIRE 13%. A saber will never be able to get low enough on SAC to allow the ENTIRE attack to be regenerated in a few seconds (even the default strike uses more action that can be regenerated between hits).
As for the ADK, remove all crystals then click on the saber to get the radial menu. There should be an option to destroy the saber. When you destroy it, you'll get your ADK back for re-use. If you didn't remove your crystals/pearls, they will be destroyed with the saber!

You can only get the most points possible by being Master Light Saber. But that does not affect you using your ADK and pearls. Once you make the LS and apply your adk to it...your pearls will be protected from decay in the LS. So, if you want to craft the best LS possible with the best resources, you need to be MLS. If you don't want to be MLS, then you just craft the best LS you can at the skill you have. Remember, you can always get your ADK back later if you make a better LS
