I personally don't think only edler Jedi should get vet rewards.
My brother has been playing longer then me and i am sure many others just wanted to play the game and not follow the path of everyone else and become a jedi.
Now they get nothing.
There should be a timeframe as well for Vets.

THese changes Look HORRIBLE, if i were any of the jedi's i would Quit. They say they need to make it more Star wars-ish and feeling, Gee lets make jedi almost a starting class and have a bunch of Jedi Somethings running around the game-Real star wars like. Not even an FRS-that is the least they could have gave us...This game used to be hardcore because you would actually have to think a little in the game-where as now they are dumbing it down probably to let some 5 year olds able to play, also to make it more like a console game Which they Are doing for Ps3 most likely(HTTP:// S P el.playstation-3.se/index_eng.php). Why cant they just roll it back to the way the jedi used to be Pre-cu-to me it looks the most star wars-ish with having an FRS Dark or Light jedi, a council which jedi vote on, And you have to work your ass off to get up there in the high ranks and earn a name for yourself and have the work pay off and then you will have a true meaning of what it takes to become a jedi. Stupid Sony just wants to port it out to consoles so they can make money off of 5 year old kids and Plus you have to buy a PS3-more money for Sony again.
I say keep the other changes like combat speed fix and even the 9 professions but dont let everyone become a FS or Jedi because this game will have to be renamed to Star Wars Jedi's Online. About 95% of the players wanted to become Jedi eventually so about 95% will probably choose this profession-plus the new players. Another thing-if they want a star wars feeling why in the Hell would they make jedi on par with every other damn profession/class in the game...Was Commander Cody as powerful as Luke Skywalker...Umm Hell no, Really makes wonder just who in the hell is thinking this bull crap up over there in SOE land.

According to the FAQ for NGE, it sounds if ALL Jedi, regardless of CL that unlocked prior to these changes going in will be considered Elder Jedi and get the rewards. Is this true or are some of the posts from various Correspondents that you need to be a CL 80 Jedi true? If it is CL 80, is this CL 80 of Jedi skills or just an unlocked Jedi that is CL such as 2 Mastered Elites with 1 Novice Jedi skill box.
Yes, you have to have an active subscription and when you log in you will receive the rewards.

ahhh this still dosn't answer the question asked ...... so do you have to be CL80 or not to get the jedi rewards ?????????

Im sorry for the confusion, Ill reword the question and answer.
Answer: To get Elder Rewards for the Jedi class you need 2 things. 1) An active account when the NGE Publish hits live. 2) An active Jedi account, Jedi is defined as 1 skill box invested (ex. Novice Lightsaber).
