No, put a timer in so you have to play like one year before you can become FS.

timer isn't a bad idea.... but make it one year of paid susbscription... otherwise people could just open account for one month, cancel and come back in a year.

If this does happen, you ahve a lot of thinking to do.. like:


*What about the hundereds of players that worked their ASSES off to get jedi, just to have it become a selectable class. Thats a "F*ck you".. right in the face.

*If this happens, you will have to 'revamp' jedi.. drasticlly.


*Jedi.. everywhere. Put a cap limit, or make it so the quests or w/e take months to complete.. maybe a time limit.. like 1 quest a month.

they don't need to revamp... jedi already got nerfed to be equal to normal elite classes....

as for those that worked for it..... guess what we all did..... /move along

No, even if jedi's power comes down to a full template non-jedi prof. The grind will keep people from going afer it leaving the hardcore aspiring jedi to define the profs reputation. If ya want the style of jedi put forth the effort to get it.

I would have to say 'Yes' bring it on. Unlike most here it seems i did not become Jedi because it was special or a 'uber' pvp class. I became Jedi because i just love the history, lore and ethos behind the Jedi proffession. If we become a normal starter profession without the 'Alpha Class tagg hanging over our heads' i do not see this changing one bit, infact we may loose some of the less desirable players in our proffession as a result of this, they will most likely go and become MBH/MCM orthe latestFoTM

Zara, I respect your point of view, but wouldnt it pis you off if all that you worked so hard for was made available to players without any effort? Dont you remember the HOURS and HOURS and WEEKS and MONTHS of gridning just so you could be a Jedi?

ANY ONE ELSE NOTICED THAT TIGGS HAS NOT YET DENIED THIS?

I remember it all too well. But that changes nothing, thats all past history now. The only things holding our profession back at present are the current 'idiot players', you know which type of playeri mean and the 'alpha class' tag thats is hung around our heads.

And you also have to remember this rumour was started by someone, who's brothers,aunts, cousins, sister knew a guy who drinks with a man who knows someone at SoE. Really solid and trustworthy information there.
