Yes I never said it wasn't. But with the Village w/ 3 week phases and the grind to full temp. you are looking at at least 22 weeks before someone is a full temp. That is a power gamer mind you playing MULTIPLE hours everyday. Damned near 6 months so it's not like it isn't controlled and gated now. Making it quest based would be just as ridiculous as well. You know as well as I do that any quest in this game is easy as snot to finish. To those that AFK well that's really lame but hell what can ya do? I don't I grind when I can.

there are so many jedi now i say let them do it..... make it a starter prof so they can get away from the village and update something else.... say the FRS? too many dev/csr/conept/live team members have wasted hours on the village and now there are too many jedi around to give a rats ass how it is obtained...

why not? We're already nerfed to well below a normal profession, maybe to become "Jedi" you need brawler 4400 (TK and fencer) and then we have 1 Jedi profession. It would justify all these nerfs, and I would only be mildly upset, cancel my account for a few weeks, then realise I have nothing better to do in my spare time and resubscribe. One line for healer, which should only give state heals, since you can freely take up doctor, one line for powers, one line for saber, and one line enhancer, with defenses spread throughout. No force bar either, unless everyone starts off with one. Saber should also use normal melee attacks, and powers should be as they are, except using a little more action.


Powers

1 push

2. lightning

3. mind blast

4. cloak


Enhancer

1. run (equivalent to burst run)

2. suppression/(cant think of what our snare is called, its been a month since I've played my Jedi)

3. Meditate (like TK, heals wounds etc)

4. Stasis


Defender

1. (our taunt attack, cant remember what its called)

2. Valor

3. Aura

4. Force Armor (I know its from enhancer, but its a defense)


Saber

1. power attack

2. armor break

3. saber throw

4. spin attack


Master

Choke, dervish, AI


Throw in defense mods here and there.

But see this does alot of things... one it changes some things in the right direction though, Melee (WHICH) anyone that does any pvp knows this is our nemisis. (NOT INCLUDING SL buffs)..


Now then the village is a overdue type of reason if it took 6 months in the village then maybe, but its not working like that..


Now then in less then 4 weeks and non-power gamer level you can be a full template and what is worse is that EVEN IF IT TOOK TWO MONTHS that is bad... Double XP and respecs started this mess and gave a unflux to Jedi that we will never recover from, lets face that fact.


As far as the rumor on concpet , its so in line with the way things need to be fixed its not funny, in fact -- almost par for the course if you ask me.


Jedi is no longer strong we are a Elite class we or most know this now, there is thousands of us... there is no way it can remain as strong on that level or under those numbers.


Short of the "Way" it's handled this rumor is not so far off from a fix to some things as one may think.


Hell I would welcome some tuning in this direction, it may also (Give us some strength back actully)


(Make one other Melee class/other then Jedi (A combo melee guy) Make the Jedi grind quest based like Pilot, time base it bigtime. Add some XP amounts into it... there ya go... I mean lets face it , its not like its hard now... this way you at least have to be at the keyboard. Alot to be said for that...

You made a few valid points but the one thing that 3-4 weeks full template yes. But at least 3 1/2 - 4 months to be able to do that. Which is nowhere near 6 months just to unlock but 5 months to full template. If you wanted to slow it down just change the village cycles to 4 weeks instead of 3. There ya go 4 months or more depending on what cycle you hit to unlock and then 3-4 weeks for a full template. 6 months. One way requires grinding until your eyes bleed, the other requires waiting and running quests and missions until you're numb from the terrible story behind it.
