ive been a huge SW fan since i was 8, this new system isnt Star Wars, its simply dumbed down for the idiots who couldnt hack it.

These kinds of posts are so funny. WOW and EQ2 are the SAME game as this, yet you would rather play them instead of SWG. Sounds like a typical powergamer.
WOW and EQ2 are far from what the NGE is bringing, the crafting system in them are about the same as the one SWG is getting post NGE, the character customization in wow is far wider than SWG, you can customize your character in 3 different paths within each class with a talents system, and the class balance is actually pretty good.
SWG 2 aka the NGE is pathetic compared to WOW, it used to be the other way around.
I guess that is where we differ... I dont like and wont play fantasy rpg's. I am a Star Wars fan, and it is the only reason I playStarWars. I like the new layout myself. Much easier, but then, that is my playstyle.

Ive tried WoW, I liked the game, hated the community. Played CoH got bored after a month. EQ2 at least I have ppl to play with and I find it at least closer to a game I enjoy, and it doesnt play anything like the NGE, more like the first CU and I had very few problems with it other than being bugged and incomplete. And the devs for EQ2 at least dont leave bugs in for months and months. Im not gonna stop buying sony products and sony games cause one area piss's me off. SWG devs and the team sucks, I honestly think they are purposly trying to kill the game, and devote the resources elsewhere, this way is just easyer, cause instead of cancelling and a rage from the players they are tricking them into leaving. Sure I am a powergamers as stated, sure ive played just about every MMO out there,even some most of never heard of. But I have a girlfriend, shes in university and has a job, a guy needs to kill time somehow. And her last term is comming up so my gaming days are gonna come to an end im sure, oh well.

If it wasnt for the Star Wars name, I wouldnt even play mmorpgs. They are much, much too slow paced for me.
