I do not know how he can even deny the fact the subscriptions are dropping and accounts are be canceled. I would highly recommend that he check again. I have lost all kinds of friends.

Hardly. SOE has EQ and EQ II. You think he is worried about a few subscriptions here.

Besides, they will most likely push a Christmas advertising campaign that will cost more than a months worth of subscriptions, maybe 2 months worth.

Sad thing is, even with everyone who posted they were cancelling, probably isnt more than 400 accounts.

SWG has something like 250,000. Man, it is but a drop in the bucket.

I am taking over my sons account, and we are probably purchasing at least one more. That will bring us to 5? yea, 5 i think.

You mean John "Pinnochio" Smedley said that?

Steve Sullivan – Director of R & D for Lucas Arts Entertainment.

“I think George has always seen movie making and video games to be very closely related…..he cares about telling stories, and these are two different mediums in which you might tell a story”

I think we were able to “tell” better stories, when we had player interdependency, and multiple, variable classes.

I read the article.... Canceled 3 of 4 accounts then and there.

Last one is just there to watch the meltdown.

Average SWG player has atleast 2 accounts. Most people have canceled the 2nd account and left the original account open for as you and I would say "watch the meltdown!" Lets see... Thats1/2 the population...

so, you go from one SOE game to another... the SAME playstyle in fact.

These kinds of posts are so funny. WOW and EQ2 are the SAME game as this, yet you would rather play them instead of SWG. Sounds like a typical powergamer.

WOW and EQ2 are far from what the NGE is bringing, the crafting system in them are about the same as the one SWG is getting post NGE, the character customization in wow is far wider than SWG, you can customize your character in 3 different paths within each class with a talents system, and the class balance is actually pretty good.

SWG 2 aka the NGE is pathetic compared to WOW, it used to be the other way around.

I guess that is where we differ... I dont like and wont play fantasy rpg's. I am a Star Wars fan, and it is the only reason I playStarWars. I like the new layout myself. Much easier, but then, that is my playstyle.
