Are you absolutely sure that the formula for attack speed is right and that it is capped at 1.0 including mods from something like force speed? Id like to hear if anyone can verify this in game, because it seems like i see attacks exceed one per second all the time. It kinda sucks that force speed is useless to a master lightsaber too.

Also i just realized that TKM has an unarmed speed of +115. Why would this be if anything above +100 doesnt matter?

Ok hehe a BH/Pistoleer with +129 pistol speed verified that his specials fire at different rates. With the formula you stated, +100 or higher would cause every attack to cap at the minimum speed. This seems not to be the case.

By the way, thanks for this awesome thread.

Crafting Mastery:
Experimentation will increase your chances of getting Amazing Successes (not give you more experimentation points). Okay to have, but considering Lightsabers do not decay, a Jedi won’t be using this very often.

Assembly increases your chances of succeeding while crafting. Again, this is not going to be used often by Jedi.

Repair does work and would be nice to have, but considering that a Jedi’s main items (Lightsaber and Robe) do not decay it’s not too useful for Jedi. However, if you wanted to repair things for other people then it might be worth having...

Technique decreases your chances of failing while crafting. Like most of the other Crafting Mastery FS skills, this one is not going to be used very often by a Jedi.

- This is for only when you click assemble right? Deterimines if it will critical fail or succeed? So this isn't technically while crafting right?

- This helps get rid of critical fails while you are experimenting right? So this one helps you "while" crafting right?

The way you have it written to me sounds as if they both help to not critical fail "while" crafting. Is it this way or the way I wrote above?

I hear crafting and combat and merchat etc etc. I can't seem to find a full list of it anywhere.

I have just finished the ranged accuracy branch because that is what is availible and uses combat/weapon xp. I have a couple of questions that should be able to be answered here if not sorry and refer me to answers if possible ok check it

1) after i get 24skills and unlock initiate will I be able to unlockand train in a more useful FS branch and then surender the useless branches. For instance I have melee spd/accuracy /ranged accuracy. After all 4 phases have passed I will have Enhanced Reflexes: Vehicular Control,Enhanced Reflexes: Ranged Defense and Enhanced Reflexes: Melee Defense.

OK well I dontwant ranged accuracyor vehicular control Id rather get something that may be usefull to jedi. Now Im sure it will not be for awhile because Ill be grinding some jedi once Iget initiate.

question 2 onceI use the 230 skill points and get the knight trials are there any skills/ mods that you can aquire with the frsplease understand I am totally newto jedi and want to learn.I mean what is the benifit of getting knight and advancing with the frs. Sorry for asking any questions that were already answred. I am just so happy that I will have a jedi that I cant stop grinning.

Oh 5 stars d00d awesome info

Regarding being able to 'switch' FS skills after unlocking,no one really knows. Theoretically since6 FS lines are required forJedi, you could possibly train up a 7th FS line then drop one of your old lines... however, as far as I know, noexisting Jedihas attempted to do that insanity since Jedi XP does not convert to FS XP. We were hopeful that Aurilia would've provided a method for Jedi to switch their FS skills for "free", but unfortunately this is not the way it turned out

Perhaps in the future the devs may provide a method to easily switch FS skills, but for the time being you'll have to ask yourselfwhat is more important, unlocking as soon as possible or having a (slightly) useful set of FS skills for your Jedi...

As for your other question, there are no direct mods that you can 'purchase' with skill points in the FRS. However, there are passive modifers granted to Knights that increase as they climb throught the FRS. The modifiers benefit Jedi in a variety of ways, such as lowering the Force cost of abilities, increasing the strength of offensive attacks, raising the effectiveness of defense abilities, and even increasingthe available Force power and regen! The mods add up differently depending on whether you go Light or Dark. For more info on this please check out Section 9 inthe guide.

Hope that helps to explain things a little more for you...

My question is in regards to force costs for the powers tree. Does the cost change based on faction? As a light jedi will force powers cost me more to use than a dark jedi? Does this change at knight? I'm trying to figure a template and force powers sounds cool, but i'm a light jedi and don't want to dump my points into it if its going to eat my force horribly.

Thanks in advance for any help
