Thread: Jedi Skilltree & Short descriptions of the given skills
lol you gotta laugh they have made a cheap version of KOTOR online don't get me wrong kotor is a great game and i love it and because everyone kept complaining say koto is better then swg why can't it be like that jedi are over powered and so on and so on you know all the stuff you have read over the last year
well now they've giving it to us and all the kiddies out there should love this and they can get this to work on the ps3 or what ever counsel will support it...... but swg was dead before this so hope they do mix it with a ps3 or xbox, and we can all move on or stay but you know once they do get the customers they want blue glowy elders will be removed or nerfed in some way.

The guy in the original post has the lvl's wrong. It goes beyond sword master and there other abilities and titles we have not seen due to charcter lvl lock on tc.The 1st 4 stages are shown, but the next will be shown when and if they do the high lvl testing.
I sure hope so, it only makes sense. Since when is being a force sensitive sword master = to being a Jedi Knight etc...It isnt. I have the feeling all the missing skills people complain about are there, but are quest based earnings.
My only hope is that this Sword Master isnt the equivelant of lvl 80. I do not want to convert my pre-9 Jedi into a sensitive sword swinger.
Jedi Lightsaber Combat is divided in several Lightsaber styles/stances known as "Forms".

Note that this is just the "base" Jedi tree, what all Jedi receive during the basic grind.
We already know there are Holocrons for all the missing Lightsaber Forms not presented here, and we know that Jedi will have Cloak.
can you elaborate on this please? specifically the holocron reference.
thanks

The game consists of datafiles called "TRE". Some people have managed to open theese files using SWGExplorer and read it's content. Among heaps of data you can read about at least 7 new holocrons that is called Form I - Form VII
In the current Jedi tree (described in this post)you have Shii-Cho (Form I), Niman (Form VI) and Soresu(Form III)form. All Jedi have theese stances for free.
Shii-Cho is a basic Lightsaber style that all Jedi learn. Soresu was Obi-Wan's lightsaber style, and since he's the final Jedi Master out there (even if he's a ghost) it makes sense to learn it. Niman is a diplomat style not used too much theese days.
This means that Form II (Makashi), Form IV (Ataru), Form V (Djem-So) andForm VII (Juyo) are still out there, as they are in the databases and there are holocrons for them.

All the professions have a movie character as their basis its the iconic representation of the profession
I think lightening is in there by the way I'm pretty sure Force Shock is lightening renamed. Force choke is there. There aren't any secret trees you haven't unlocked based on the way the Cls work I think the 4th level gets you to 90.
There might be stuff to be looted or quest based but that is probably for the future.
