Nah they will probably just take away Corro from Bac like they did the old armorsmith coro when he complained
Then they'll give it to a NGE supporter like MsNil

The way I see it the new jedi isnt balanced. My guess is Devs are gunshy with jedi because int he past Jedi have been powerful, and now they have done the oppisite to us. We are a step above trades combat wize. Lets recap what we have lost in the name of balance
1. any form of innate armor. Our only defense is a cnerter of being that we have to queue up and use instead of a special attack.
2. loss of effective root ability so we cant hold targets in place even for 5 seconds. this means we have to chase them all over h3ll and back to hit them. meanwhile getting kited. we have saber block you say? yes but guess what, if we use it we have to key ti up into our "specials" slot and thus no center of being or special attacks. This means Jedi is dogmeat in any pvp situation
3. our pearls and crystals we spent months gathering, killing for and speding millions of credits on are now dust. They are equivelent to a good pearl you can loot off a meatlump.
4. and lastly our actual wepaon damage. We cant even seem to autofire in this new version so we have to click every single attack. our attacks max speed is 2 attacks per second, while ranged get autoattack of 4 times per second. not to mention a ranged gun is twice the damage of a converted lightsaber. twice damage times twice the speed means the ranged folks will crank out 4 times the damage into our unarmored bodies.
This is the deathknoll for this popular star wars class. When new players come they will find it not onyl difficult to just play, but down right weak. it will be nothing like Kotor, or jedi outcast or any other game involving jedi. For goodness sakes SOE at least balance us. Im not asking to be more powerful, I just want a fighting chance!

I thought that the NGE was about balance.
How is a melee class expected to go up against ranged classes without Armor or a Root?

I know from someone who has inside sources that SWG was GOING to be cancelled in January. They desperately sold LEC on the NGE, and were ordered to throw it in now.
NGE was to be the core of SWG2. It was barely started, and isn't near finished.
About all NGE will accomplish is to get SWG cancelled... In January.

I completely agree with Baiacca here, I remember when Jedi had to do the Holo grind, and what about the amount of xp they were getting back then? It was a nightmare but in the end Jedi were the alpha class in the game AS IT SHOULD ALWAYS BE, c'mon ask yourself will you read watch a star wars based movie episode without some Jedi action? No way right? You want to see Jedi doing what Jedi are good at..usng the force.
People or customers or vets who have invested money into this game as well as time are your most loyal and best customers because they make the community, I mean you didn't buy a car yesterday and when the manufacturer says that your fuel economy car or truck or whatever will be modified into a gas guzzler, or if that nice pizza you bought at the grocery store got nerfed by the dev and turned into an air freshner...you woulnd't be happy would you? Y not? because thats not what you paid for right? Maybe you spent months saving to buy that Rolex and when you buy it you find out Rolex just put out a new line of watches called Xelor thats worse then the original..then your gonna say I want that original back!!!
Point is customers started whinning about GCW unbalance and I rather live with that then to live with this, if I knew that all this was going to happen then I wouldn't have bothered as a customer to make investments in this field. Its just hard to believe that people pay money to play a game and they are doing all this...well since I haven't gave up yet I sure hope there will be some improvement for those who deserve it otherwise why should I continue to pay when I can probably play it for free on Playstation3??? Honestly I am playing more fun games then SWG and y do I continue t play this one? Because I'm a SW fan not SOE one so SOE is very lucky to have me and hundreds of other players as customers or we would be gone, but then again we can only take so much abuse like a vehicle till we break down...as a consumer I am just being honest as I have been loyal to the game.

Think making Jedi a starting class is a mistake and removing so many abilities one as well (is sad to see the whole profession system go). I do think everyone should be able to become a Jedi, just not starting out as one.
And as for melee in this upcoming system, have been kited for hours already in this system and I have no doubt it will just get worse... just hope it isnt from NPCs as well.
