I learned from the Crafting professions which profession I would use to support my Jedi character through my second character slot. From the combat profession I learnedthe specials and range of that profession. I learned which combat professions would complement each other as well as a Jedi padawan (add defence &accuracy) The Cu changed almost all aspects of what I learned.

I was ATK for the combat, not using a /cycleTargetOutward; /attack macro likeothers did, although I fell asleep many times waking to a dead or incapped character. I do admit the entertainer professions I macroed, I was playing my other character at the keyboard right next to this one.

I was right beside my guild mates working to support thier grind, I financed my own grind providing them with resources. I was the last to unlock because I helped them. I watched the screen next to me and felt the dissapointment when the profession was not the one , and was ecstatic when they did unlock. But all of this was my choice.

I do not consider myself an elitist, nor do I want to inhibit the progression of anyone else to make myself more rare.

I did not mean to imply the Hologrind could not have been done better. But for me maybe a few others, I gained valuable insite to the game and many professions I would have never otherwise mastered.

My opinion is the village, was justmy opinion, If anyone else found it to be fullfilling, I am happy to hear that. Everyone in this game finds pleasure in different places. Some find it within the content of the game, some find it within the Guilds or groups they play with,some find it flaming others here in the forums. To each their own.
