Thread: What to do with my Jedi when I am not playing (afk house sitting)...will I get in trouble?

Not without the use of an exploit, you can't...
I've been griefed for 1.5 million xp in the course of 2 days by bh who found they could drop me before my template was finished and pretty much farmed me to pay for a suit of RIS..... If i want topay them back it's my 15 a month and my right.
I honestly dont understand what you mean here maybe you could clear it up for me im assumeing some bh blackmailed you or something?
and the last coment there your 15 a month your right that is just assinine it is against ToS to go knowingly go against game mechanics basically say i wanted to over load my sabre your saying since i pay 15 a month its my right to exploit all i want?
Just as BH's say they can kill us for whatever reasons (and many admit it's not for the hunt, not for the money, but to cause xp loss, in hopes of driving another player to quit the game....), Killing a mark is killing a mark regardless of the personal reasons the BH is hunting...the same with going AFK. A dancer going AFK or a Jedi going AFK... AFK is the same, regardless of personal reasons why.
as it's always said, it's their job to kill us and it's our job to survive... one tactic is to have bh automatically toss your mission cause your a house sitter. I've dealt with alot of bh and with their advantages now we can't counter, I'd rather have em inclined to toss my mission...
FYI a Bh doesnt get your name till he's 200m or closer to you so your reputation as a house sitter does no good he cant get your mission and go oh hey hes a house sitter he has to come to you first

It has PLENTY to do with survival... It means I can sit and chat with friends and guildies without being interupted by a trip to the cloner every half hour...So, you're saying that once we are done grinding for the day, or done questing for the day, we have to make sure to log out so we don't tick off some ego-challenged BH? Nope, I am gonna sit and chat, and hang out...then go AFK if I choose.
and sorry, but now with bh's getting squad leader and rifleman for the 4k 1 hit... I'm using every trick I can to stay ahead of the game.
how many rifleman bh have come for you with a sl buff on and hit you for 1k?
we don't all have pre-curb sabers.. and we also don't all have 4k ham or the range to hit root/snare chain users....
how many times have you been chain rooted?
they declare war everytime they pull our missions... well.... All's fair in love and war

Oh and p.s. The time lost running me down is that much more leveling another Jedi can get in.

the state of jedi has changed when i got my jedi we all complained because we never got enough visits from bh now all these post cu 2 week grinders dont want to fight bh lol well when you sined up for jedi you signed up for forced pvp
that is the reason i took jedi i personaly had not much idea what a jedi was when i got it as i have not seen any sw movies ever and have learned from the game the only reason i went jedi was the idea that it would be interesting to always be on my toes not knowing if a bh was around the corner
you kids no vis from group members, no penalty for any death except a bh death, lol now you guys dont want forced pvp give me a break everything has been handed to this generation of jedi on a silver spoon
i have to stop reading these forums or im gonna end up deleteing my jedi toon and just playing my bh as my my main if whats posted in these forums truely represents what jedi have come to i dont want to be one any more
they can't change pricing and still survive. too much competition out there now.

That or SOE will come up with a new pricing scheme... your $15 a month gets you 30 hours of playtime. Every hour after that is an additional $1.

im saying it is abuseing game mechanics when names were removed from terminals the concession that was made was missions would only be created for online jedi
you are staying logged in so that missions are created for your toon while you have no intention of playing the game with the sole intent of griwefing other players

No, Mine dioesn't cost them hours of grind time... you can get from A to B in about 10 minutes in this game thanks to JtL and low wait shuttles... how long they hang out from there is their business.

i could giuve 2 **edit**s were you live and as far as tricks go this would be a new one to me
Point is, I live on Naboo... Kadaara is a bh hub.... there's a trick with seekers that obviously must not be true if "YOU" haven't heard of it

Sorry but Rancor Aid only works for electrolyte drain. Other than that, have a seat... wave at the bh 40m away and wave til you die.
And I didn't know either BH.....so it wasn't a grudge thing there....

It's a tactic... if you can't understand it's benefits... sorry but it's not my job to hold your hand and walk you through it. and it's also not hiding....when I'm not playing I afk... when i'm there to play... I go play.

you gotta be a kid lol anybody over 21 would know how to read enough to figure out i never once said that bhs owned all jedis in the movies i never ojnce said how the characters were in the movies or how they should be im saying from the game stand point jedi always has been forced pvp from the beginming it has been that is part of the game nothing to do with the movies
Maybe I misread your post but that doesn't change the fact i'm an adult.... sorry..... I saw something about the way Jedi act and misinterpreted it to mean you were comparing jedi in the game to in the movies... I see now you meant comparing the old jedi to the new... well the old ones are gone. their sabers might be a little better but that really won't matter when they're incapped before their saber even lights.
secondly by semi even footing i assume yopu mean that yuoiu will fight until it looks like your gonna lose lol as 9/10 jedi do as i have met maybe 5 my jedi included that would stay and die rather than run since the cu as far as new well who knows but you act like a newb who is new to jedi
Sorry... no Force Run OR cloak in my template..... I'm there to fight..... but when it's a matter of being incapped before the fight music even starts or rooted on place while some week out of the box toon guns down my toon at leisure... that's not a fight. I've stayed for several fights that I died in....
I didn't mind.. it's an occupational hazard. but the system in place now is nothing but a patch to turn the jedi into staked out sheep in a field.

and i think i am wasting Odums time as well as getting myself worked up over little things by argueing in this thread it isnt the end of the world when 2 people disagree on the way the game is played it is after all a massive multiplayer (or was atleast) so Im done in this thread and if i came across as an ass hat please accept my apoligy i got worked up over some silly stuff

What you're doing is asking for macro's to be removed. Since any other fix is going to take too much time from development. Basically screwing over crafters because you're too immature to understand one simple fact:

Those BH arenot any better. But what is that saying about not stooping to another's level? Just because they're idiots justifys this? I think not.

How long ago was it that TH said that recursive macro's were going the way of the dinosaur? Has it happened yet? No. And I doubt it will anytime soon.
