I can put them into stasis every time i want to, run away, but most of the times they die in 1-3 minutes. I have to admit that, i'd not be able to kill them that fast without my no-SAC 788 dps saber. Too bad the sabers are not tradable, since i have 2 more sabers, both of them 700+ dmg / 700++ dps 10-13FC no-SAC ADKd
i could help some friends out
i think it would be fair, if the devs put the new FRS and the new pearls into the game. it's about damn time. It's been for 6 months, dammit.
i agree with this point here.
pre-9 jedi and even pre cu jedi all have the better sabers. and rightly so. i just think that this sepratist attitude some of these older jedi(and not you nan you didnt show that in this post

not flaming or arguing just stating my opinion. I remember those days when u would go grind xp on your own, its so much different now. I remeber trying to grind out 1mill xp solo, haha that would take quite a while, the good old days
hehe. I hope star wars galaxies gets there act together and does make us 1.5x stronger as a knight and up with the frs...because currently bounty hunters say, "wahahha we can kill the hardest jedi"....i laugh ROFL when i hear this cuz no bounty hunter can kill a knight or higher. maybe the bh's will whine and cry some more and the devs will nerf us more so they can havea fighting chance, lol, or maybe the devs will finally realize they need to fix our profession and not shaft us
.
To any jedi who have questions about there profession im always here to help, cuz we were all beginner jedi at one point, and i would 100% rather help any jedi out than a bounty hunter
hehe
may the force be with you
/tiphat
need more jedi like y ou.
im only 2 months old and already starting to fall into this pattern. as i know a few paddies new then myself
so helping is much better then b**lbusting
you were not around those times, when the jedi used a pistole to collect a bounch of rancors around them, because a flurry took 10% of our force bar...and when we were sitting right next to the damaged lair waiting our forcebar to replenish for forcethrowing the lair for that 5K extra jedi xp. That was killer, i almost went mad grinding the apprentice box.

to whoever said that "everyone can go grind on kash in a group" ....
the point was, pre9's couldn't. If they finished their grind, and most of us did, it was in the much harder and slower system. Sure, we could go grind now, but why would we?
I know plenty of post cu jedi, and post 9 jedi, and have no problems with any of them. Sure, I can remenisce with other pre9's, but that's about it. It doesn't make anyone better or worse than anyone else. I'm not a better Jedi because I once walked around Endor in Composite armor.
But does it mean that some of us have much more experience and know how to use our skills and tools better? Probably. We got really good at running away from the 20 man gank groups with 1 BH in them. We learned all kinds of tricks. But I've never come across a Jedi who wouldn't give plenty of advice if you just asked. There seems to be an awful lot of hate between pre9 and Post CU jedi on the forums, but has anyone really ever had a problem with it in-game?
The pearl issue sucks, no way around that. Hopefully something is changed in that regard to allow the newer jedi to compete with the others as far as quality and damage of sabers goes.
The Jedi that unlocked via the village need to stop thinking everyone hates them. The only evidence I see of people not liking the Post village unlocks are when the post village unlocks start screaming about how they had it bad too. Then it becomes a pissing match about who had it worse. Well, it's really simple. Grind-wise, the Pre9's got the shaft. No groups, saber tef, perma death, and solo grinding was a reality for a lot of us. Some of the early village unlocks experienced some of this stuff. effectiveness-wise, the post CU jedi got the shaft. Pearls got screwed, abilities were changed, and all of the sudden it's harder to stand up to a BH than it used to be.
Best advice: FR2 and/or Cloak. Actually, best advice would be to just die to the BH and get off the terms. Then stay off. with no group vis, it means you're acting stupidly to be on the terms while you're still grinding. Pay your dues, move on with your grind, and finish up. Then hope they fix the pearls.
good luck guys.
pistol. dont hate cuz you dont have. its very ugly. also. be nice to nerds, cuz one day u may end up working for one. Bill Gates, Linus Torvalds. Both make more than u ever will.
Anyway, later hateraide...
POST-CU jedi had the easiest way. We, the PRE9 Jedi had the hardest way. It's our privilege to have perfect sabers. And yes, it's true, you cannot kill a skilled/well equiped BH without a good saber. What system would of been better?
1) Grind out a mixture of 15-25 professions.
2) Get 5 content badges and the POIs.
3) Have an active account for six months.
4) Goto the village with no unlocked branches and unlock and train up 6 branches with double the XP requriements.
5) Padawan Trials
6) Become a Jedi. Because of the CU, double the XP requirements for each box.
Now that's a great system! Course, so was the grind 32 profession one.

Well I think the one thing post CU FS/jedi, and pre Cu jedi can agree on, is that it is waaay too easy to become Force Sensitive....so make that harder, the village takes plenty of time in and of itself. It is a shame that there are such low lvl people getting glowie.
actually it's always been easy to unlock your jedi... it was just time consuming... and once holocrons hit.. it was just a matter of time... Thats what everyone is missing.. it's never been 'hard' it just took longer.
Something your missing is the fact that even with holocrons there were so many rumors about how to unlock, no one knew. The first jedi had mastered only 5 professions, she was given jedi basically. Since she only mastered 5 professions and other people after her were mastering 10-16 no one knew if they were missing part of the formula. Now everything is set out before you, there is no mystery. When you hit the 20+ range you start wondering if your missing something. The not knowing when you would unlock made it hard to, each time you mastered a profession and did not unlock it was depressing especially in the higher ranges.
