Mmm, ok lets look at it like this. Stun = no action regen for 8seconds, how is that ever in the same ballpark as removing an entire mastery worth of innate armour? Really, think about it for 1 second. Improved break cuts 7000 armur to 2450. 1 line of LS > Mastery of innate armour. Balance? Hell no...
So what ive done is make it so 89sp of LS cancels 89sp of innate armour, mastery countering mastery. Also, the polearm line has the state effects, yes, but i also gave 2 handed the defence debuff. What does that do? well, it ensures that 2 handed will always hit for the upper end of their damage potential, the improved version removes half of force aura, that is no laughing matter. To me its a little more balanced to have 2 handed hit for higher damage range than have it be the line that exclusively gets to bypass armour as well as having the hardest single target attack. Too much, for too little in skill points imho.

I reread your ideas a few times and I really do like them, but as individual trees you still have balance issues if a jedi chose not to master sabers.

It depends on the timer for stun as it could be reapplied ad nauseum, I think I agree with you on the subject of 1h it appears to be the weakest of the three disciplines even with the 5 sec delay.

Yeah, after they made the game so simple with the CU it doesnt look promising of any kind of complex PvP coming to this game anytime soon. We can all hope, mind you.

And SOE is an online gaming giant so we can't even hope for what happened to Monolith Games...
For those that don't know, Monolith made Matrix Online, done it really badly and were forced to cease in all mmo's, the rights to Matrix Online were sold to SOE in fact along with the rights to make another mmo based on the DC comics universe.
But the good news is Monolith are still going strong on offline games and Fear might actually be released on time, truly a rare event in pc gaming these days, especially the shooters.

a good idea, it reminds me of a thread that was posted sevral months ago called; the 7 forms of LS combat' if i remember right, only that post was pre CU and was more linked with FRS. eather ways, good way to bring tactics into lightsaber fighting. unfortunetly this means the devs would have to revamp the LS profession, and i dought they would do this concidering they just redid it for the CU. heh

I thought about it alot, at first it was 20% health, but that was really overpowered. The numbers look like this:
15% health of human with no buffs = 450 health. Now a MLS could take that off a master defender with 1 strike anyway, so its not that overpowered.
15% health on a 'buffed up' player, lets say = 750 ( 5k health). So even here, its not really gambreaking.
You would need over 6.5k health for deathstrike to deal 4 figure damage. Still think its overpowered? Or just a really nice way to end the fight
