Seriously how is using a droid to heal an exploit?

And i guess the jedis that i see using droids are exploiters too?

- Bomb droids cannot be used by Jedi. You need to be Novice Bounty Hunter or Novice Smuggler to use those.
- As already stated several times, medical droids to not enhance Jedi heals.
- Nobody is complaining about BHs using the med droid to enhance the heals, people are complaining about bacta-spraying the droid and the droid still giving the bonus after it is incapped.

Healing droids with bacta wasn't always the case. Buffing Droids wasn't always the case either. What don't you understand about Jedi NOT being able to heal droids? Saying that droids are pets means completely nothing.

AGAIN, The doctor correspondant was going to look into whether HEALING droids with BACTA is intentional. I'm not calling you an exploiter, but if you think that droids should be healed, then you should be supportive of jedi to get our heals working on droids.

However, if the doctor correspondant turns around tomorrow and says, "I spoke with the devs. Healing droids is not intentional". Then, technically your exploiting.

If anything I would think as a DE you would not want ANYONE healing droids with bacta or force heals, since you rather be making money off selling Droid Repair Kits (or is that Artisian crafted?)

I have to jump in here. Using a medical droid is not an exploit in any way, shape or form. Droids have self repair abilities that allow them to repair during battle, so this is not an exploit either. Is the medical module functioning while disabled intended? This I really can't say and you would need a DEV to comment. I have to add here that my med droid module worked for me as a doc pre-cu when the droid was disabled as well.

Also, there is another bug in the animations that makes a droid look destroyed when it has in fact self repaired. The only way to fix this is to store and recall.

As for those that call BH (and non-bh) expoiters for using these things, you have no right. I have been using a medical droid for two years. I am not an exploiter. Just because it does not work the way you want, or think it should work, does not mean I should put him away.

This is NOT an exploit, if it is a bug, then you should damn well get comments from the devs saying as such, and then yell at them to fix it. Calling honest players exploiters does nothing for your cause whatsoever. When are you going to get it, the problem is not with other players! It's with a currently broken system.

Backup a bit. We're talking about a player healing a droid, not the other way around.

I HAVE seen a jedi, see i know he was a jedi cause he had his Lightsaber, try and use a bomb droid on me, he timed it wrong and it blew up early....................guess he was exploiting

I HAVE seen jedi using droids to heal...................../shrug it might not effect force heals but they were healing as good and as quick as i was and had very little mind drain..............must of been an exploit

I think to many times people are to quick to throw out exploit without doin research and finding out why peeps can do certian things.

Is it silly that the droid still gives out bonuses after its healed, probably, but is it silly that a SL still gives out his abilities when he is laying down incapped probably, but thats how it is working.

Here is how you get away form it, and it cracked me up when a jedi first did it to me. Root the droid and run off away from it, if the BH follows you he is out of range of his droids abilities. If he stays near his droid then you get away. Simple tactic but very effective to either break contact or to put the bh at a disadvantage.

That Jedi you saw using a bomb droid probably was not a full template and still had either Novice Smuggler or Novice BH. You can have 226 points in regular skills, 24 points in FS skills and no Jedi skills whatsoever and still be able to light up a lightsaber.

Jedi heals have a low mind cost, and a Jedi cannot use a droid to enhance his heals - neither power-wise nor reuse-time-wise.

And yes, there are counters to droids. Stasis works great (and the droid still will grant the bonus), root works great, also. But that doesnt matter - bacta-spraying a droid still is an exploit.

Does not matter... droids are classiefed as "pets" as such you can use heals on them. This is not an exploit.

A speeder is not a pet If it seems weird to be able to heal a droid, well that is your issue, and has nothing to do with the way they are made and how they can be healed.

And yes a jedi can.

Wrong, jedi can not heal a droid. That's where the frustration lies. The Doctor Correspondant said he was ging to get to the bottom of the "intention". If the dev's intended that all droidsshould be healed by bacta, then then need to allow jedi to heal with force heals. So...

If it's intentional, then jedi heals are bugged (BTW, why even have Droid Repair Kits?)

If it's not intentional, then bacta heals to droids are exploiting from a technical standpoint.

QFE that Gorilla guy is sniffing too much droid cleaner fluid. I use my droid everyday in combat, can't heal them at all. Switiching to pets, maybe i can heal a pet. /shrug

So a jedi can use a bomb droid without exploiting if he has nov smuggler or novice bh in his temp

so he can usea medic droid to heal himself if he still has novice medic or novice cm still is template correct?

If you stasis, root the droid and run off the bh, once out of range of the droid won't get the bonus, i know from experience. If you stasis it and stay near it your right the bh still will get the bonus

And i do agree with you that it is rather silly that you can heal the droid once he gets incapped, but further up in the posts people brought out valid reasons for being able to.
