I can hit a full templated Jedi with LD for 4k, WITHOUT any SL buffs, the MOST importent Point you miss (again like most complaining jedi) that you can ONLY use LD when you are about "one hit from incapp" makes such an attack almost useless for a BH who INITIATES the Battle. I totally agree with you guys, that a 4k hit for a BH as FIRST attack in a Battle is MUCHO overpowered, because you can not defent against his first shot. If he uses LD when ya nearly killed him.. ok, bad luck, but as we can see, as good as no BH is useing Smuggler anymore, cause LD is kinda useless for BH in battle. (not to forget that LD has a BIG chance to just fail, and a increddible long warmup, so its really really really hard to push da button in the right moment)
But I think the LD discussion should stand back anyway, with these new SL buffy you Jedi have much bigger Problems
Actually the most popular tactic involves a BH dueling a friend that goes with him on the mission. He lets the friend incap him so when he gets up he has no health and can just hit the last ditch right away.
Do I think a lot of people use it, no. There are much more effecient ways to kill a Jedi. These tactics are for people with no skill just like the BH's getting SL buffs.....they are compensating for no PvP skill.

The big difference is that you cannot use a LD to initiate a battle without getting attention. If the Jedi is to dump to recognize it, ... his fault. But the new SL buffs allow the BH to onehit his target WITHOUT the need to do something befor he can shot.

Like I said, I agree you won't see the majority of people using it but the fact is it's still there.
SL buffs again are not going to be as big of a problem because people are too stupid to know how to use them correctly. I see people already giving up because they couldn't one hit incap Jedi with some crappy weapon. People don't even realize I'm not so much worried about a single BH with a single SL helping, I'm worried about mutiple SL's helping a single BH. That is where it will be seriously unbalanced. even the "I win button" is not enough to compensate for no skill but were are getting pretty close to where a player with no skill might be able to take out the most skilled PvPer just because the combat system wasn't balanced for BH/Jedi duels. The BH's that actually have PvP skill are the players I worry about with the SL buffs. It was obvious on BETA who actually had PvP skill and who did not.
