im telling you people, w/o improved aura your going to get owned by smart/goodmelee. would you rather that swordsman's powerhammer be hitting you for 1.2-1.4k a hit or scale that dmg down to about 600-700 dmg a hit? (i mean if you play the template right you shouldntbe getting hit very much from anyone with a 5m range, but still the hits will come... and they will hurt, even with intimidate anddmg mitigation food on) same goes for ever profession besides jedi, since jedi have such a tight dmg range on their weapons.




the key to any template is to know what u can and can't do. Keep the swordmen at range keep ranged proffesions close. mls mfw there is no one that can out dmg u. the more they have to heal the less u get hit.


This template is for pvpers and any good pvper knows RULE #1 is know thy enemy

Wow, I was really considering this template (MP, MLS) i had no idea it was so popular.
100% offense.
But what about saving the lightening branch and just doing 0440? The intimidate and weaken? T\I would think it compliments the MLS side extremly well.

I am MP/MLS Enh 0002 Heal 3000 and I do just fine. Bear in mind, this IS NOT an easy template. It is known as the "glass cannon". It cannot tank nor sustain damage for long. It IS however, a template that is more art and craft than specials spamming. Those who learn it well, are DEADLY. Defenders are tough if you make the mistake to stand toe to toe with them. Enhancers can be eaten for lunch but with force absorb and force reflect, they can also be your single worst nightmare. The whole key to this template choice in Jedi v. Jedi is Force Breech.



With force defenses down, Enhancers are JUST AS vulnerable as you and defenders have to rely totally on their innate armor. Get them breeched, throw on choke and area KD then bum rush for saber AB and a saber head, leg hit or PH. You will only have a few seconds here, so chose wisely. Then move back to see if they chose to press the attack or reapply their defenses. If they reapply their defenses, YOU now control the battle. If they do not right away, then you must now try to overwhelm with superior damage. If you stay outside of melee range, their only attacks are saber throw and snares while you have lightning, choke, mind blast, and force throw. They will (of course) try to close to melee. When they do, breech again, KD, AB, choke and either go for the kill or once again, pull back and see if they reapply defenses or press on.



The point is, if they get you flat footed and in saber range, with MLS and heal 3000, you can stick in long enough to get in some damage before you land a KD and AB and can withdraw again to once again breech and choke. It's all about timing and paying CLOSE attention to your opponents state icons. This template is more about punch/counter-punch than any other Jedi template. You have to keep your opponent reacting to what YOU do or you are lost. You get them reapplying defenses and wasting HUGE amounts of force doing so from breech and then using force to heal from your superior damage dealing abilities and you've won. If you do not watch how they react and do not adapt accordingly, you're dead. This template is NOT for most Jedi. Especially if you like to just slug it out. Like I said, you master this one, and you will be DEADLY. If not, you will die and die alot.

Master Powers is a art of pure offensive strategy. I was once a Master Powers Master Lightsabers jedi, as far as damage goes you will feel like a god if you have a good enough saber, on the other hand you will feel weak because of the lack of defences, i was quite good with this template as far as master powers master sabers goes, but most the fights i lost due to the lack of defences and healing, i tried lots of things to go with MP MLS, some defender, enhancer, healer, it just doesnt really work. One of the reasons i didnt achieve my goal is because my saber isnt the greatest you can find, if your a pre cu jedi and you got some heavy sh1t you can try it, and you may be able to pull it off as far as pvp goes. It is a outstanding support template but 1v1 you gotta play your cards right, and your force breach gotta hit right. PVE is a big challenge, it basically takes your body and throws it on the ground, but if you dont really like pve then no worries, and if you are in a group your ok unless you start doing more damage to the point your @ss is gonna get agroed. IF you are a rper it is a awsome dark jedi rp template, i had alot of fun with it, but i wanted to win more of my fights then loose, and right now the game is so un balanced as far as all these noob post bounty hunters owning ever jedi in sight because of combat medic or squad leader that you want to try to get all you can to stay alive. Being a pre cu bounty hunter i cant really take getting killed by these noobs, just sickning so i guess thats one of the reasons i changed. My advice to you is to possibly get force speed 2, the damage is just outrageous with that. Whatever you do goodluck and i say do it, you may be able to make it work depending on your saber.

Good thing about MLS/MPW is if I have to I can kite a melee temp. Yeah I wish I could have everything, but I can't, and I chose to focus on overpowering offense. More difficult to play, yes, but if you can master the art, it can do very well. 40%, 41 second synth steak is very powerful if you can use it right. But there are always new things to learn, different ways you need to do things for different situations.






I went back to enhancer 3000 healer 2000.


lair crystal and fs2 = +35 combat speed


not sure how much the damage increase is


with d- pyro my accuracy is over 500.


Haven't had a chance to test it on anyone though.


On level 82's npc's i was roughly doing a bit more than 3kdamage every 3 secs.


Need to test on guildmates but they are either grinding or mustafaring.

Interesting idea, test it out for sure. Might be one way to really stack on the damage. I think the offensive wild force shard gives you +20 to speed, but no damage increase like the lair crystal does, but it's to both ranged and melee general speed. I personally just would be afraid of the lack of healing if you can't really stack on the damage, I've never been good with stims and ruby bliel, maybe you would be.



Oh and 0440 might sound good in Powers, but really powers is not a dabble tree, I'd not even bother calling cloak worth dabbling in. If you want powers, you should master it, breach, choke, both are incredible skills to have when used right.



If you have MLS use the adv saber throw as your kd instead of the other 2 options, it's a VERY high damage attack as well and can help put you over the edge and incap the other guy fast. Adv KD for 1k, Choke, for 800 first tick if properly breached, PH while KD for 1.2-1.5, that's a lot of damage in short period of time. If the other guy doesn't get his heal as soon as you kd him he'd be in trouble fast.
