Do what u think u will have the most fun with and not necessarily what is the most uber pvp template out there. Besides Pvp nowadays is all about ganking so think more about BH then Jedi for the1 vs 1 encounters.

From the sounds using all Mpowers specials...not one in MLS....if you want powers, drop MLS and pick up ENH x4xx in addition to your others for force shield

Well this sounds to me like a very cool jedi roleplay template. But for pvp ... i dunno.

I have been for a few months struggling to decide weither to go with a MP/MLS template myself... if anything i'd proberly be MP-MLS w/enhancer 3000 and healer 2000.


But as i've been reading more of the posts here, i'm not certain on something...


... it was my understanding that the specials that governed LS and Powers were on very seperate timers, and that in theory (not accounting for lag) that LightSaber moves and Power Moves could practically be used at the same time (fraction of seconds)to acheive some quite damaging effect, but throwing all caution to the fact you have no armour to speak off, and to pray that if you do enough damage you massive offensive is defensive in that it makes you target go into a healing / defensive frenzy...


Is this not possible? or only if you have force speed to help with the general timer between specials? Details would be much appreciated.

Honestly I don't use MLS/MPW that way. I use powers for all the debuffs, states, intim, weaken, breach and choke, I use LS to pour on the damage. This is a tough template to play, I'm still learning in lots of situations. Steak, steak, steak, steak, steak, it's a must have with this template. In pvp you can play 2 roles, the 1v1 damage nuker, or the area attacker with your AOE, intim, stun, lightning and KD. Live fast, die fast.

Thanks that helps give me a different perspective to work on, weither i will change or not, i'm not sure... it's quite a "Role" change from what i current am, but i have played something simular before.

This one knows what he is talking about, before the CURB a MLS/MFW/H4004 was viable and force wasn't that much of a problem and now that force regeneration has been fixed, channel can be done without once again.

I wish I had kept master force wielder and gone master lightsaber again, when the CURB went live I was master force wielder, master lightsaber, healer 4004 and I tore things up and had no problems until they added the 6 second healing delay and I had to change to 0044 lightsaber and 3402 enhancer.

mls mp is a great template . Its a offenses over def template, i have ppl asking me all the time how i do so well with no def. with cloak u will always get first strike and breach is under estimated. the reason why ppl say pick up enh 3000 is for the force speed which greatly improves this template but in 1 on 1 fights not having 1500 heals is really gimping yourself. i have mls mp heal 4000 def 1000 the little def with foods helps but i am going to pick up sap which i think will help more. u can hang with anyone with a empty stomuch.

fs2 would be nice but there's no way I'd sacrifice 1500 heals. Oh and yeah the lair crystal works good as does the offensive shard.

Good thing about MLS/MPW is if I have to I can kite a melee temp. Yeah I wish I could have everything, but I can't, and I chose to focus on overpowering offense. More difficult to play, yes, but if you can master the art, it can do very well. 40%, 41 second synth steak is very powerful if you can use it right. But there are always new things to learn, different ways you need to do things for different situations.

I went back to enhancer 3000 healer 2000.


lair crystal and fs2 = +35 combat speed


not sure how much the damage increase is


with d- pyro my accuracy is over 500.


Haven't had a chance to test it on anyone though.


On level 82's npc's i was roughly doing a bit more than 3kdamage every 3 secs.


Need to test on guildmates but they are either grinding or mustafaring.
