Thread: If the Jedi Cloaks from ToOW were Wook only....
when many picked thier race there were benifits for certain races vs others and Humans were middle of the road on most things.
Now some players are complaining that the race they chose even though in the game both races have thier own special clothing cant ware a loot item.
you knew the race was gimped from the start on many items was one of the reasons I picked a Human for mine so I could use most items in the game

First of all: I do understand the problem and it would be really nice if it would be fixed. (Maybe a radial-option to convert it into a Wookiee-Smock or something?) But please check my old post for the exact stats on species and you will see that Wookiees do not only have the health-bonus. (It was tested as good as possible and those old stats are still true)
But again: I would like to see some species-love.
well thanks for your "constructive" info.. i will take this into consideration.. The bottom line here toEVERYONE in this thread and in mine.. a piece of clothing with the same stats to regen force and total force is all I'm asking for since that is what the new cloaks are andwhat they do...Itwould be nice so we can wear our BE clothing and ALL of our socketed CA clothing...Well whatever I'm off for the night tired of all of this and just plain tired.. night everyone
lol i love that movie! I have it right here on my computer.. in fact sometimes when i log into our vent server i play the intro to that movie or the first few second just to let everyone know im HERE!! lol nice quote too!

Nah just about 98% of the people that argue against wookiees and ithorians are all giveing the same BS answers as to why we shouldnt be able to wear the cloaks or even get anything.. I dont understand why people are saying "NO!" to even allow us to wear clothes we already have now! For example... to everyone out there that thinks "No wookiee or ithorian should be able to wear the new cloaks!" what about letting us convert the "Cloak of the Kursk"...*is that right?* or any cloak that is looted with jedi stats to a Sage hood or one of the Ithorian hats?? I'm sorry anyone that says "No!" to that is just trolling and being rude and needs to grow upin my opinion.... you get to wear a cloak and still wear all your CA and BE clothing why wouldnt we have the same choice?
Oh and to the people that say. "twi'leks cant wear this..trandos cant wear that.. blah blah, you dont hear them crying!" lol what does this have to do with wookiees and ithorians or this topic...?? Just because they areNOT "crying" * as everyone says * about such and such item, doesnt mean we cant.. If your another race that has an issue with clothing or not being able to equip and item because of your species.. maaaaybe you should start a thread.. as long as your being serious and bring up some valid reasons as to why you should be able to wear *insert item or problem here* there is no reason you cant!
Anywayz I'm off to work so i leave the trolls with this.. If your going to argue here that we shouldnt be able to wear them OR have an item to convert,PLEASEread through this thread and others before you spit out the same answers as everyone else that have already been answered by the wookiee and itho part of thecommunity...

it's not petty if your on the outside looking in at this stuff. and i'm never going to let this die until they offer us a solution. i accept the fact that there is 5 or more other suits of armor out there i cannot wear. at least we got something with the kashyyyk stuff. but come on. leaving us out of some of the biggest improvements in the game is just wrong, no matter how you slice it. we paid for it the same as you did. regardless of race. andus jedi wookies deserve it.we grinded just as hard as any other. i know this can be fixed. question is getting it done.
But this is a loot!! Not part of issued jedi attire. The loot came from a human jedi....not a wookie. THIS is not the biggest improvement. +8 force regen means NOTHING when you chain snared, paralyzed, on fire, poisoned, thyroid ruptured, electrolyte drained and dead. This IS petty BS. The big improvement comes when jedi is revamped. This is one little loot item which will not make a difference one way or the other.

and when it is, if ever revamped, wooks are still gonna be one more step behind with what's available to them. how long would you like the list of items to be that are released in this patch that my character cannot equip due to race. like the miners medallion with the fire protection of 50. geeze that would be nice to equip also. no , wait a sec. they have it coded as a necklace and i can't equip it either. ohhh wait a sec ,, it gets better... it's a no trade item to boot. now i got a quest reward that is not only worthless . but cannot be sold or traded. and is now sucking up a spot either in my inventory or in a bank account.

I can't even believe what I am reading here. Maybe I am wrong but it seems we have a post of people angry because they picked a race that can't wear certain items, be it loot or whatever.
WHen you created a wookie you knew you couldn't wear some species specifc clothes but that was the chance you took to get the modifiers you got as a wookie. We were all shocked when wookies were allowed to wear jedi robes. Even the wookies.
If we had it your way we would all be one race with the same abilities and clothes, etc.A level playing field so to speak.
How about we stop the game and GIVE you everything there is? Premium pearls, ADK, master cloaks, holocrons, +25 light saber skill tapes, a pre-cu saber, +24 skill points, necklaces, rings, hats, shoes....because you are wookie jedi. Come on.
I don't have a cloak, I don't have +25 skill tapes, I don't have millions of credits, I don't have the miners necklace. Do I deserve these things because I am a human jedi? No. But I get to wear them and so forth IF I do because I picked human. Just like you get certain things because you are a wookie.
THINGS aren't balanced in life or in the movies, or in the books. There is always someone smarter,stronger, bigger, faster, richer. What makes you a winner is over coming the challenges and using what you got.
Too bad there is some loot you cant use. Drop it in your house, destroy it...whatever. But get over it.

Well I'm not going to say your wrong because that is your opinion.. but let me tell you how i feel...its not like we are angry that we cant wear blue jeans and t-shirts..The system is already in place and like ive said before this is a simple problem with a simple solution..let me start with an example.. When a wookiee signs up to be a rebellion piolet one ofthe first missions you will do gives a non wookiee piolet a orange flight suit.. well obviously it would be pretty silly seing a bunch of wooks running around in orange flight suits so what do the devs do? Simple make a bandolier that can hold up to 50 items...theycompensate thefact that we cannot wear the flight suit so thye make something we can wear...brilliant problem solved.. Now in my opinion the cloaks are a little different story.. There is a differnce between a cloak and an orange jump suit.. The cloak is a just a piece of cloth that is hung over the body and draps to the ground with a hood.. Wookiees and humans are not really that different in body structure only height *I'm thinking of only differnces that would obstruct the wearing of a cloak..* that being said i would think a master tailor could modify the cloaks a lil to expand for a wookiees size... i mean a bothan can wear the "human sized" cloak and they are extremely short... this is just the opposite...

I agree with you completely here, but i dont think we should be left out.. look me personaly i would just loev to be able to wear the new cloaks as my wookiee i think that would be sweet! and make me feel even MORE like a jedi! but if we cant then give us something we can wear with the same stats...

Well you get to wear your new cloak *pretty much a paddy robe* and still wear yourBE clothing and CA clothing this puts you at an advantage and us at a disadvantage we are just asking to be equal..

We are not asking the devs to hand us items in our inventory but it would be nice to have a loot out there we can work for to be on the same lvl as the new cloaks.. or be rewarded in a proper way fora quest with an item that we can equip..again step in our shoes for 2 seconds...
