It's been said before and I'm going to add to it. If you don't want to PVP go play another profession. The fact is that jedi IS a PVP profession. You don't want a visit from a bounty hunter, keep your visibilty down so you don't end up on the terminals.
This has been stated over and over again. Quit your whining and either learn how play your jedi or hang up your saber!!!

Yeah, I like how all of the rules have changed since Jedi were implemented except for the forced PvP part.
You wanna force us to PvP? How about we roll back to the Pre-9 trees and let us AFK craft our way to 4,4,4,4 Guardian? How about we bring back LS damage and Flawless pearls?
Oh, I forgot. The only thing about the old system we are keeping is the forced PvP. Everything else was nerfed into the stone age.

You know this brings to argument the Jedi being rare thing. You said that PvP is rare, imagine if Jedi was on a constant overt status like in the old FRS. This would cut down significantly the number of Jedi and the ones who truly like PvP would stay with it. The probleem of course is the number of immature PvP lovers that would kill the meaning of what Jedi should stand for but just for argument's sake imagine if it were so. I am not saying I wish for such a thing but it would thin the herd significantly.

The trouble is, you who go for jedi now expect to have it in a month. You didnt have to hunt quenkers for weeks to get one box in jedi. You are so spoiled on the RESPEC system and the current fast and easy xp that you are in a mad race to be full template. Not long ago, it took a LOT longer to complete a template and you dealt with visibility in a much longer capacity. If you were killed and lost 200k or 400k xp or more, it truly hurt. Now you just get in a spin group and you have regained the xp in a couple of hours instead of days and weeks. (Nothing wrong with wanting to be Jedi though)
In the past, you would never have made it to full template with the attitude you have now. You would have given up. Even I am a newb jedi compaired to those who have been playing since beta, but I am a pre-CU jedi and I do remember killing so many quenkers I named a saber "Quenker Blender"
As for Bounty Hunters, yes it sucks getting visibility, but if you grind slow you wont get it. Grind smart, you wont get it. If you grind fast, yes you will die a few times, and you will still get full template within a month or twoin the current system if you grind hard. If you dont, it will take a little longer. You guys get so much xp so fast now in spin groups its insane.
If you dont want to PvP, then there are many templates out there that are non-forced PvP templates. To wield a saber comes with a price, and that price is to be the hunted. I have been on both sides, BH and Jedi. By far the biggest cry babies are newbs on BOTH sides. New Bounty Hunters and New Jedi both tear through boxes of tissues like a crack head through lighters.
Relax, get ahold of yourself. No, you dont want to be hunted while you try to grind your full template jedi in a month, maybe two... but try to be proud. You made it to a point where you DESERVE to be hunted. If you forget that, then yea maybe you should just go buy another box of tissues for those tears kid.
Bounty Hunters, learn how to PvP and talk to succesfull BHs for advise. Jedi, act like a Jedi and that lame asses RPG excuse to get full template without having your pride touched is much older then you. "OMFG I just got OWNED and Im a freakin JEDI! How laim! This sucks!" ..... Shut up, get over it, get up, and go play the character profession you chose with some grace and honor.

Personally I don't see what the whole big deal is, if he wants to go PVE and not play PVP then let him, it wouldn't affect you if you wish to play PVP would it? She/he could enjoy the game as a jedi and so could you. It would be a win-win situation. You still play and get hunted by BH and others play content without worrying about BH's - I don't see the big deal. As for jedi having stuff other players don't. I am not sure they really do anymore. Medics can magically heal too, rifles can deal massive damage (I know this personally), and CM can wield poisons at a distance... different graphics and different effects, but not really fundamentally any different anymore that someone with a force bar. I don't think the war between rebels and imps was ruined with the new system and at least they could try the PVE jedi stuff on a test server just to see what it was like.
