Stasis, then back up a bit and /sit, /meditate /channel to get some force and action/mind up. I had this happen to me by a jedi whenI hunted him with my BH. (I dint tell him anything cause I expect him to do what ever he can to win, which is cool). Then after the 45sec are up, stand up goof off for a few seconds, then reaply the following, do that a few times and he is as good as new. So I hardly think stasis is a defensive move using this tactic. Perhaps a solution would be to reduce the stasis effect to 20sec or even 10sec since that gives enough time to run away and closes the window of "grief" vs BH and jedi. Again notice how a fix is required.

Uh? No???? They cant do that at all. You are locked in combat and cannot sit and can therefore not meditate. And not even back before they nerfed meditate, 40 seconds did not give you enough time to recover force fast enough. In 40 seconds you can meditate 840 force, but since you where considered in battle you couldnt even begin meditating until 20 seconds had passed. And then they nerfed it in pub 19. 420... that's like Forcespeed and a heal then you used that up.

And if you channel you are in lethal danger for 3 minutes becouse it kills your mindbar like a falling rock if you try to heal.

You do not play an Enhancer do you?

In group PvP, assuming there is a 8 vs 8 and there are 3 or 4 Menh, each target an enemy and turn the odds 8 vs 4 for less then a minute making it open season. Again, how is this a defensive stance? Its not, its used to create an offensive window. Having a smaller stasis effect would make this event more balanced. Again notice how a fix is required.

That sounds like a serious exaggeration. Even hitting a Defender have a high chance to miss, and one Enhancer breaking another Enhancer's stasis seems to be more a rule than an exception. There's also the previous nerf "Rage" that stops recasting any Daze attack for 20 seconds.

MsNil you make good points and I dont wish for jedi to get nerfed any more. But you must agree that with the introduction of root, stasis, snares and cloak this game is not what it use to be and its harder to create a balance. Its very easy to nerf one and out balance the rest or vice versa.

Stasis is a lucky shot as much as last ditch. Sometimes it works, sometimes it do no not.

After what you just said I very seriously doubt you are MasterEnhancer. Am I right?

Reason: The lack of multiplayer pve content and Star Wars feel.
For 3 years I have tried to find excuses to stay in game but only the expansions offered me what I subscribed for in the first place: A multiplayer Star Wars pve experience with friends around the globe. I found friends but with almost no addition of pve content they dropped out one by one. Now it's my turn.

Actually, he is partly right. I was using this tactic on a BH last night. When I was 1/2 down on force, I used Stasis on BH, then untargeted BH. In about 6 seconds you'll hear the combat music drop and you can then sit/meditate/channel. I personally see nothing wrong with this (yes I'm MEnhancer) because meditating by itself will not regenerate much force at all, you'll be lucky to get back 1/2 of the force you spent to use stasis in the 30secs you'll have to meditate and channeling lowers your max health temporarily, so if someone channels like mad for 30 secs, yes they'll get some force back, but their max health will be down by 1k-1.5k or so. So their is a trade-off which I believe balances it.

Hehe that was me Bunji. It was me you fought on Lok infront of your house, or was it your friends house. BTW awsome fight.

And MsNil I need not mention nothing more since you got proof here that the /stasis, /sit, /meditate, /channel is a tactic very usefull.

I know what Im talking about, dont think Im just a noob trying to get stasis nerfed just to revenge my cloak (which I dont have). I use to be master healer. There is no love left with that.

But you need to understand what Im saying here, if stasis is to be used as a retreat i.e defensive move then a 10 second effect is more then enough since in 10 seconds with force run 3 your gone. But as it is, stasis can be used to create offensive oportunities and thats where I think stasis is not on par with other skills.

And I use to be a master enhancer as well, but droped it, my current template... I still dont know. I find PvP fun as a ranged prof until I fully understand game mechanics.

Now dont get me wrong. Im not asking for stasis to get nerfed. Im just stating my opinion.

every other jedi master box has become worthless and nerfed

Cloak isn't even in the master box... If they moved it to the master box instead of nerfing it... It would probabaly make a lot more of a difference instead of making powers almost completly useless so no one gets it...
