exactly what it says.........if you were not around before cu and you already have a full templated knight after only 3 months of play, i say you did not learn enuff about the game to be an effective voice. if you are trying to get into an argument about deserving it or not then troll elsewhere. i was under the impression that being a jedi meant you were 20 times stronger than a regular profession (per TH's exact words pre patch 5) not this watered down crap that 90% of the current jedi have dragged us into or helped nerf us into. 1.5 times as powerful as a reg prof is not acceptable. again, if you are trying to suck up to people for appearing to be on the side of the whiners or newer jedi then seek a flame war elsewhere....it is my opinion and you will not get me to argue with you for trolling sake.
no i dont want to argue with anyone bro,thats why i asked what you meant,i agree to a degree with what you say,if you have a full template jedi after only 3 months of play then yes you dont have enough experience to be an effective voice

if being an elitest means getting what was promised us pre patch 3 then i am indeed that. i do not feel like we have gotten near what we were told was coming, not what we "deserve." no one deserves jack! all i am saying is that 1.5 times is unacceptable. and on the note of what i said....how is it possible that some completed jedi that signed up for the game the day of CU with his big ole total experience box that did nothing but grind his player to one goal and has mastered a whopping 1 prof and essentially mastered jedi have any input in overall game mechanics and balance when he has played a whopping total of 2 profs? that is what i mean by he has not earned the right to cry for nerfs when he has no clue what he is crying for balance against. is like a dancer crying for commando nerfs when the 2 will never fight any way. go join WOW and ruin their veterans game. they have invested far less time than the veterans in this game.
Im gald u had loads of time on ur hands to play this game long enough to be pre 9. I didnt. Anyone who grinded the majority of there temp in the CU knows they grinded a different profession. They grinded knowing they were 1.5 times better, there is no use goin on about how better it was in the old countty and how all the nerfs (balancing the profession) effect you. Its unfortunate that the profession u grinded all the months (years) ago no longer exists. Its the way this game has evolved and you would have watched and experienced that process. You say som1 who mastered 1 prof, a few pois and dont the village can be a jedi, yes u r right. The amount of time put into unlocking and grinding a jedi now, reflexs how good, cool, fun, leet the profession is now. Its the way it is in all walks of life, vetrans are around long enough to see the changes, often not like them but there is nothing u can do unfortuntly. to say some jedi dont derserve pearls coz they lack will power or waht ever is silly. Get the spawns and drops fixed to how they were per CU and u will see who has willpower and enthusiasm.

I don't care who suddenly was motivated to find pearls at the last minute before the CU...most of us worked hard regardless of the impending CU to get good pearls so we could craft the best saber possible. The Jedi Grind was partly about skill advancement and partly about saber crafting back then...there were two grinds, in other words. Saying you worked hard to find pearls at the last minute means nothing here.
I have one of the older Jediand I don't care how much 'easier' it got. Things change. It wasn't like the post-cu Jedi asked for the changes or tried to get over on the system, so cut them some slack. They were hosed out of good pearls---no question of that.
The real question is whether we are about to be robbed of all the hard work we put into our sabers.I have no faith whatsoever in thefairness of the devs...they will not care about the second order effects of nerfing the older Jedi again, and will be happy to see us leave since we aren't the major bill-payers around here.
Remember what happened to the buff sets the doctors crafted? There were doctors who had spent months making the best buffs on the server, and others who spent millions buying them. When they got rid of the crafted buffs, the devs converted them to worthless artifacts. There was no compensation or even a kiss after they were@!#$%&.
So...the few of us left who fall into the category of pre-cu Jedi with near-perfect sabers that we spent months to create are about to be ganked. And nobody cares.

apologize for that then. you know as well as i do that 99.9% of posters here are solely geared towards stirring crap up for the sake of stirring it up. is impossible to know if someone is the .1% or the 99.9% crowd.

I'm sorry but I don't consider grinding out profs as any more deserving than the new system, both Jedi did the work the devs laid down to get it so both Jedi have earned the right to it. Just because you and other pre-Jedi did it sooner does not mean that their opinions are the only ones that matter over post 9, post cu or future Jedi under a new system if it comes out.
Oh and another thing, I have been playing since the euro servers came up so I am a Vet as well so I have invested my own fair share of time, does that make my opinion more important than yours because my forum reg date is older than yours???? No, that would be elitest of me to think that.
Anyone who has Jedi has equal right to chip in and have their say on their prof, their was not a cut off point as to when you are allowed an opinion

Oh and I tried Wow and thought it didn't need anymore ruining, but hey thats my opinion, other people think it is the best mmorpg ever born, so hey what you gonna do
to have constructive thoughts would be a major leap forward for most of these newer jedi or newer players. the vast majority simply cry nerf and/or hand me this or that. crying for balance when they have no clue what they are crying for is the definition of ignorance. i have played not grinded out every profession in this game. i unlocked on prof 31 and grinded out bh to say i had done them all, plus pilot when it was out. when someone has played over 16 dif profs i would say they have a clue as to how the other profs work in this game. until then they are simply stating things they have seen or heard and we all know how reliable that type of information can be. they watch a hybrid pvper tank 4 or 5 mediocre jedi players and automatically cry for a nerf of all pikeman because of this one incident they saw. or they cry nerf on one cloaker that managed to escape a gank squad they were invovlve in. most cries for balance in this game come from jealousy of ability or lack of knowledge of how the game is played. period.
