If you are a RETARD you may not have known you would have to fight a BH.

If you have been in this game long enough to unlock a jedi you know what it means. If PvP isnt your thing, be a master dancer.

why is it that people can not come up with a good argument against a change other than name calling or chest thumping? Or im old school and my opinion is better than yours just because im old school. I had to do it so all you should have to too. Get over your selves.

Too often players and the devs have a mindset that professions should be balanced with 1 on 1 pvp in mind. This mindset is ruining the game. The benchmark for balance should be determined by the role a profession plays in a group setting. As long as the current mindset continues we will never see uniqueness among the professions, nor will we ever see individuality within a given profession. We will never see the SWG universe expanded as the focus will only ever be balance pass after balance pass after balance pass.

i salute those who didnt know they had to fight BH's.

They didnt want everything spelled out for them (how to get glowy, how to do the quest etc) so they either didnt ask jedi about it or didnt go on the forums which was a barve thingt to do

BH's didn't always hunt the Jedi profession.

Do you still wet the bed? Get over it, Bounty Hunters will hunt you and you will have to PvP. You will never get out of it.

Lets see....

Jedi.... The profession in itself requires one to stay away from every biped mob and all players not grouped (and this is a recent invention) or they get visibility. The profession is a combat profession. The profession has had a system errected that rewards combat against other players.

Bounty Hunter.... Combat profession. Combat profession whose primarily exclusive skill at master level is to aquire and execute missions against other players. Rewarded greatly by means of credits appon killing player Jedi characters.

And you assert that these are not PvP professions? Granted, a jedi can put away his saber when a Bounty Hunter comes and allow the DB and never defend, attack, run away, or cloak, but if he does any of these things it is a form of PvP. Granted a Bounty Hunter never has to take player missions, but that is pretty much the greatest content improvement for this profession and those who want to never PvP can certainly choose other skills besides Bounty Hunter that will compliment their gaming.

Yea you may have been around a long time, but your arguments are... well... silly. An entertainer profession such as Musician never has to entertain, a crafter never has to craft, a doc never has to heal etc... but most recognize these different modes of play for what they are. Maybe you just always have to be right, but in this case you are not. Jedi and Bounty Hunter as professions are PvP templates whose content in large part promotes PvP. Doesnt mean the person using those templates is good at it, but they are made for PvP.

Remove player bounties and remove visibility and then they can be considered as strictly Roll Play templates if the player chooses. Otherwise, the game is not SIMs and you are not correct.

An entertainer must entertain, a crafter must craft, and a doc must heal...In order to advance. A Jedi however, does not have to PVP to advance to full template. In fact, the goal of a grinding Jedi is to not be hunted, so if anything the goal is to avoid PVP. Yes, to advance in the FRS of old you had to PVP, but that was something beyond the Jedi profession. It was a mechanic added in for those who were no longer playing the profession in the way it was designed and needed something with structure to keep them from quitting.

Anyone smell Ebay around here?
To flee or fight is part of a PvP stratagy. You dont have to PvP, you can always die. You dont have to PvP at all, you can pick a non-PvP profession.

Blah blah blah

Bring back Saber TEF...

--- Cancelled 24th November 2006
Reason: The lack of multiplayer pve content and Star Wars feel.
For 3 years I have tried to find excuses to stay in game but only the expansions offered me what I subscribed for in the first place: A multiplayer Star Wars pve experience with friends around the globe. I found friends but with almost no addition of pve content they dropped out one by one. Now it's my turn.

Hey there Mr Hanky guy, why dont you list the server you are on and the name of your jedi so you can let all the Bounty Hunters know what target sucks so bad at PvP they feel a need to cry about it in the forums.
