I managed to get 12 premium crystals Post-CU doing DJKs, but i saw that they were going to nerf pearl/crystal drops.

My Jedi smashes BHs ... Just cause you get jedi, doesnt mean your great !, same as a master BH is not really a "master" just cause they wear a title.
My Jedi vs BH average fight time = 30 seconds - 60 seconds. Why ?
1) I ground the old way, did 30 profs ... studied the profs and understood them, learnt their styles.
2) I got pearls and had them tuned nice, I bought 5 resource kits and got the best resources, I got a +25 LS exper. suit and made saber., I then got a +25 gen melee speed, then +25 LS speed, then spent millions in food. I earned all this because I didnt sign up to SWG and grind the fastest way possible to jedi.
My Bh can go toe to toe with tons of jedi as well, why ?
1) I learnt the profession, and I know jedi weaknesses.
2) I Bought an energy suit, sliced it to 75% Armorbreak resist, adked it, got ranged arms, stims foods, droids, and finally a gun that does 1200 damage @ 67sac ...so sure I can fight a jedi.
Quit getting a finished temp jedi and thinking you should be a GOD class or ALPHA class, even in a game like WoW a lvl 60 doesnt mean your unkillable by a lvl 55 or whatnot, it is skill etc. So learn to win, not to cry nerf nerf nerf

well i a but my alt is BH and her equipment is a little more expensiv then yuo said
8 ADK=12*8=96mill
pistol 2-3mill
armor 7,5 mill
tapes not sure i have traded and lotted most of it but supose 2-30 mill
wich give a total of about 135 mill
sure my jedi cost alot more
tuned like 50 prem 100 normal once like quality and such
it was pre cu and hunted it my self but still if yuo compare the prices you need to do it right

To those who whine about non-jedi standing toe to toe, try this:
1)Buy a new copy of SWG.
2)Create a character and without using any outside financing, level him up to MBH/MCM.
3)Take a 225k jedi mission.
Once that is all said and done, come tell me how it went. Chances are , you got your butt handed to you. Why? Because chances are, the BHes who stood toe to toe with you more than likely have well established characters. They grinded and farmed to afford clothing/armor attachments, good armor, good weapons, foods and drinks and most importantly: they aquired experience.
Some players may not be jedis, but they sure have spent just as much time grinding, if not more time than a lot of you to get their equipment to the point where it is. While you were out grinding bols for experience, they were out grinding aakuans for loot.
Grinding is grinding, a jedis time is worth no more than anyone else's. Live with it.

Also, just because you are full template doesn't mean you are a Jedi. You are still a Padawan. And if you want to get a little RP with it (And you should since this isn't an MMO but an MMORPG) You haven't even been trained by Jedi. You have been trained by some backwater Force sensitive hermits.
The reason why people buy RIS is because the condition is dramatically higher than other armor. It is a mute point when it's ADK'd. Also, if you look at the Rebel Sith Hunter NPC they wear RIS, so it fits with the BH appearance as the game is laid out.
Also, I don't know any full set of Battle armor on Ahazi with 7k resist going for less than 1.2 mil. So either you have an AS in your pocket that most people don't have, or you are very lucky.

Am I like the only one that enjoys a good BH? They are still few and far between -- like 1 out of 10 BHs gives me a really good fight. I would be really dishearted if every BH was a 30 second fight. If they come ready for a fight (buffed, foods, nice equipment) and a knowledge of how to fight various Jedi Templates, then they should give us a good fight. I just love 'em.
I am a 2.5 Template and have only lost one-on-one once. And, in that fight, I made a big mistake: Fighting amoungst CL50 aggro NPCs whenthe BHonly had 3 min left on his buffs.
Regarding Paddies...stay off the terms. 
I did my grind 8000m outside MO all by myself. Spin Groups running missions out of StarPort cities will get you Vis eventually. And, if you lose by a quality BH...that only seems fair to me. However, I could just beone of those jaded Pre-CU chicks.

Hello Jedi,
I have bota full temp Jedi and a Multi Temp BH CM. I change it nearly every day by grinding just for fun so today I may be MCM or MP or whatever but Ive done allmost all of it.
FIrst off a MDEF/MLS is very difficult to go toe to toe with but is possible if I have everything right. That means I have to have all the right foods, Armor and equipment and Buffs up.
In my SWG perfect world a naked or Padawan Robed Full temp Jedi with no buffs or wrong foods and a weak Saber should be fairly easy for a very good double combat master BH to defeat if that BH has it all right (food, Armor, Slices, CA's,AA's best weapon etc..).
Now does your Full Temp Jedi have the best crystals? The best crafted Saber? Is your Jedi in the common PvP template or the most effective PvP template? Does your Jedi have the best food and buffs up? (Best food means the RIGHT food for the fight). Does your Jedi have stims ready to use? Does your Jedi have Droids ready to assist him in his fight? Does your Jedi have capped out Accuracy and Speed CA's. Are you wearing a Bandoleer that improves your defence?
If not.. and you fight a double Master Bounty Hunter that does have it all right then you my friend should die and die quickly. Especially if your a newbie PvPer. Jedi is the premier PvP proffession in the game. To play a Jedi is to play a PvPer period... unless you hide and hunt animals or stay in space your entire career you are accepting PvP by playing Jedi.
I came back after playing WoW for several months from before CU. I hated perma death so much it drove me from the game. I came back with a newbie Jedi and maxed his Temp in 2 Weeks grinding on Dantooine. I dont want to hear how hard it is to do.. because the Jedi path is not hard allthough it is time consuming to do the village etc..to become one.
Jedi should not be the only alpha class. Jedi should be hunted. Bounty Hunters need to be able to defeat any Jedi template using the Best equipment when fighting a Bounty Hunter who is. Of course neitherprofession should be able to win untill they learn PvP.
A Jedi should essentially be alike a normal profession that allready has the best buffs up. IE 1.5 % better. so a fully buffed BH vs a Naked Jedi should be about an even match. Now add in Buffs to the Jedi and CA's etc.. the Jedi becomes 1.5% more powerfull than the Bounty Hunter again.
Now you have a Jedi and a BH who both have the best buffs and equipment they can get (this means more work and time developing your Jedi even after you max temp). At this point the Jedi should be 1.5 times more powerfull than the BH but only if they choose PvP templates. You would not want to see a Master Enchanter/Master Healer Jedi ever defeating a BH.
Now you get this 1.5 Jedi and this Bounty Hunter but the BH has been PvP a long time and knows his stuff then he should be able to win. On the other hand if the Jedi is just as PvP Savy then the Bounty Hunter should have to either give up and go away or die.
All things being equal a Jedi should be able to win if he is good at PvP and has a PvP template, and has the best equipment and buffs he can get.
I would argue that Power's Jedi need some love but thats for another thread. Powers Jedi should be scary to fight yet I laugh when I run into a Power Jedi. I get all choked up so to speak....
I'll give you at least one hint on how to beat BH. Get good crystals and saber or keep you vis low. If you get that Saber then Just spam me with AB KD and Saber hits untill you notice I am stuck on the ground then really let me have it. If you KD me enough either lag or a timer bug will stick me down and you can send me to clone.
Most MDef/MLS with really good Sabers can send me to a clone center in only a few minuets as they wear my mind down quickly. I know when its comming by the first few hits I just think oh crap back to Kaadar for another Jedi hehe.

No need to buy a new copy, you can create a character on another server.
I did EXACTLY this to test the MBH/MCM weaknesses

Can we say Deja Vu? The character I spent 3 weeks grinding(4 daysof which were spent mastering pilot) with absolutely NO "assistance" outside of getting xp in grinding groups, no attachments, nothing special as far as the energy defense on my armor(battle armor), no ADK'ed equipment, no quest or super weapons; only a couple of food items,and no stims, was standing toe-to-toe with a Jedi that had plenty of defenses and plenty of attack ability.

No, it was just a standoff, in the exact same manner as the Jedi I spent 8 months grinding(after 11 months of grinding 32 professions, heh).
Neither one of us could damage the other enough before the other healed.
