Thread: lets put an end to the myth and conjecture....about crystals/pearls (need all jedi 2 read)

Spent 40 mil since the cu on pearls that all tuned bad. I spent 1 month hitting the 111's and other FS npc's and looted a little over 60 quaity and below crystals. Tuned them all , had 5 in the 80's dmg -.09 to -.21 speed , -4 to -9 on fc. The 3 I had in the 90's have gone.


1. 93/93 -.15 -9

2. 92/92 -.12 -2

2, 91/91 -.18 -8


The pearls were bought at 500k each, so 80 pearls and just over 60 crystals, so a little over 140 tunes for 3 decent dmg crystals for my saber.

tuned one quality for 89 with a fc of -5....other than that the rest were under 50

I tuned over 50 good, and or quality pearls & crystals... Not a one tuned worth a damn... best I got out of it was one 95 dam. and -3 fpc and another -8 fpc with 45 dam.. crazy of them to say that any one can tune perfect... I even tuned 2a premium after cu.. and 1it turned out 30 dam -3 fpc... the other was a little better. but not worth using.. was not worth the credits they are charging for them..

Nope. I've gotten some good fair's, but none close to perfect.


Post Cu:



  • Over 200 crystals tuned, 1 over 100 dmg (it was fair).

  • Over 150 Pearls tuned, 1 over 100 dmg (it was fair).

then 2 accts out of 250k
then 1 out of 200k
now 0 of 175k as of dec 25th....
i am a soe shareholder and do know how many active accts there are.

Best 2 i have tuned post-cu are-

Quality crystal - 98/98 -8 fc -.21 speed
Good crystal - 104 -6 fc -.16 speed

i have tuned around 10 pearls, and 20 crystals since cu, and my best has either been -8 fc (low dam around 50) or "high dmg" around 90 and fc around -3


so all in all I have not gotten a "GOOD" tune yet

Ive tuned around 20 crystals since the CU and all tuned badly
