This is an awesome idea. There should be some sort of meter, with specified levels at which you gain more penalties for the higher your visibility goes.

No idea how much this will effect your possiblity to be seen on the bounty mission terms.. you may also want to try a search on this topic. Very simulaur question have been asked and discussed several times.

you shouldnt of unequipped ur saber, you should of kept it out and not attacked....
equipping and unequipping gives you vis, but having it out, as long as you dont attack, doesnt.

That is pretty bogus, if you ask me.
Leaving it out, unignited doesn't cause vis (but you can actually see the darn thing), but putting it away does?
When common sense was being handed out, the devs were passed out in the the gutter, I swear.

of course, but to my understanding, you get vis when you change ur status as a jedi. for example, equipping/unequipping your saber/padawan robe. They may have changed it, but this is how i thought it happened, as when i was jedi, i ran around with my padawan robe on, and my saber out, and i didnt get attacked until the CU came out and i grinded w/groups.

refer to the stickies for detailed info on vis values.
By definition "any display of a force power within 32 meters of any NPC(some people are even saying bikes) will generate some visibility"
Exceptions include: having robe and saber already equipped before entering civiliation. That shouldn't generate visiblity, toggling them on/off will, but be warned that if there is an event or an aggro at starport and you have your saber out, it could ignite in front of 20+ people.
