Thread: Naked Bounty Hunters?
Dammit, now I'll be humming that when they come for me tonight. Noooooooo.....
the problem is this, I could take down a full temp easily before any more help. Now I can snare, and root quicker...and I haven't even tried the SL buffs yet...
I don't think I'll ever play my Jedi again, I was hoping for a BOOST to Jedi !!!
what a noob I am thinking that...back to the MCM/BH wait a few more weeks...research other ways to kill my time in the meantime...
I gotta tell you, killing Jedi has become boring and predictable

What is WRONG with you people? You want to be invincible. Pick up Master Defender + Aura if you want to stand a chance against a Rifleman or get in saber range. This is how Star Wars was and always is.
Master defender or def xx4x since you get first hit, you can't expect us to keep our Aura Macros running while we wait for you guys tocome, cozwe wouldn't have any force to attack back that is even if we could. But the Force problem, well thats another chapter.
Why not? What YOU want is to have fun playing an overpowered character and not be at risk. Run a valor macro or log off.
BH's running round killing Jedi Naked. Personaly I haven't even logged in my Jedi since Publish 24 so , becase that fact that a BH can now kill Jedi naked I wouldn't subject my character to that sort of an insult. And it has too be true, becasue I check the Jedi Forums every night when i log off and since Publish 24 hit live, nothing like whats been posted, as far as I know on this particular forum but even though i admit i have not checked i am pretty sure its been posted on the TC forums.before it went live.

Im a full template, MDEF, MLS, Healer 3000, Enh 0002
Let me answer a few questions aboutthis.
1. Get in range. (How can you get in range when your saber throw is 35m, your snared, and he can shoot from 80m out?)
2.Use Aura and Valor. (Yeah I got both of those. Guess what. Aura barely works once you have been armor broken. SL's now get a much longer lasting way to armor break and Jedi have NO defense against AB. Then theres valor. Great so you block a few then you get slammed for a 2k+ hit.)
3. Run away (Hahah this is a joke considering snare is going to negate your force run)
4. Learn your template you say (I know my template, I know other templates. Jedi simply dont have the range and with the new nerfs coming there is nothing you can do unless you get extremely lucky and the guy misses a snare and lets you get within range. Even if you did he would snare and run out of range again. Snare him back you say. Yeah with the jedi speed bug it's HARD to run valor, aura, snare, armor break and then do your damage after. Especially when their heals are better than ours.
Point and Case:
It needs balancing. Im not saying it should be a win button for jedi but when we have no way to defend against this at all it is unfair and unbalanced. In my opinion jedi defenders should have innate armor break resistance and should be able to resist other states twice as much as currently. On top of that the higher your resistance the lower the time the state should affect you. Example. You do get armor broken, a master defender would be AB for 15 seconds whereas a dabbler or begginer would be ABd for more like 30. This should be the same with snare and all other abilites. This would give you a reason to pickup different templates as well as a wide range of skill attachments. At this point it would be more fair as a jedi with more skills in certain areas would be better equiped to handle this kind of attack. Whatever happens, they need to do something about this soon.

What are YOU whining about? Being armor broken? Sounds like you're mad about getting whacked while in open PvP.
Valor is a 50/50 hit/miss chance. Sorry, it's proven to work. Aura has NOTHING to do with armor break. Aura reduces damage to min + max / 2 (if I remember the forumla correctly). Without aura, you take max damage.
Quit your pointless accusations. There is NO REASON a non-Knight should stand a chance against a sniper @ 80m. The only thing I agree on is stacking snare. It should have a bit longer cooldown. Other than that...

but how?
first strike is mostly snare or root, cant move then 4-5 shots (or 6-7 if he misses) and im incapped.
ah and dont forget this is an MMORGP, fight based on skills (ah, not in swg). may i pls you to have a look at any fps? thanks.

You really have no clue what is going on. First, they cannot get in saber range with these new skills and snares. Second, some have learned how to deal 6k-8k dmg in one shot on MDEFs causing instant incap. MDEF is REALLY broken now, and force aura isn't working like it used to is what I've been hearing since Pub24 went live.
No, YOU don't get it. This is how Star Wars really was. What you want, is some fake depiction of how a non-Knight can be killing helpless animals then just happen to sense a 1.1 gigabolt of energy from a proton sniper rifle and just carelessly deflect it...... and the next 50 while walking up to the Bounty Hunter. You guys are pathetic. REALLY. This publish is probably the closest to what is depicted about Jedi hunting in the books and movies.
And NO you are NOT Luke Skywalker, Obi-wan, or anyone else from the movies so don't use the excuse "but THEY took down a SBD"
