Yes it is happening, they don't risk their armor, and it's also sort of an in your face move to show us how easy it is now without risk.

You want Bounty Hunters to have risk? Why should they? Jedi are apparently the ones who need a OVERALL (do not post another 'well i lose to melee healing stackers and mcm's! not everyone is one of those) more powerful character to win at Star Wars.
Play a normal character if you don't want risk.




Hey Mr. Gleefully Missing the Point. It's not about not getting hunted, it's about changes so blatently unfair that any moron can see the problem with all melee professions being at the complete mercy of ranged.

Also, besides constantly being snared, please note that the cooldown timer on Stopping Shot is now only a few seconds. Why is Chain-Rooting back?

You really have no clue what is going on. First, they cannot get in saber range with these new skills and snares. Second, some have learned how to deal 6k-8k dmg in one shot on MDEFs causing instant incap. MDEF is REALLY broken now, and force aura isn't working like it used to is what I've been hearing since Pub24 went live.




No, YOU don't get it. This is how Star Wars really was. What you want, is some fake depiction of how a non-Knight can be killing helpless animals then just happen to sense a 1.1 gigabolt of energy from a proton sniper rifle and just carelessly deflect it...


... and the next 50 while walking up to the Bounty Hunter. You guys are pathetic. REALLY. This publish is probably the closest to what is depicted about Jedi hunting in the books and movies.


And NO you are NOT Luke Skywalker, Obi-wan, or anyone else from the movies so don't use the excuse "but THEY took down a SBD"







Sorry, sir, but you are the one that doesn't get it. This is our game. Our characters are the hero's or the villians in this time frame. Luke Skywalker, Darth Vader do not interact with other players. They are Static NPC's.


We play this game to advance ourselves. Because we are the ones that matter. We change our servers (galaxies) and we create our content. Players are and should be strong. Any argument to justify killing someone in 3 hits is ridiculous.


*If you want to be technical the 12 year old jedi in episode 3 (Lucas's son) took out 4-5 clone troopers before the rest ganked him. He didn't get killed in 3 shots, maybe not even in 12...

You really are an idiot. Why should anyone be force to take a perticuler template to survive. Before CU there wasn't alot of defenders around because you could surivive with defencers. Jedi back then had 55 lightsaber toughness to make up for it.

Hm, m.def and use aura you say, this is from something i calculated from a different thread :

The target has center of being active and from the looks of it, is using crispic.


Normally :


7436 points of damage


-60% from 10000 armor rating


7436 - 4461


= 2975 points of damage after armor.


So a m.def with a PSG or a m.def with force armor with aura active would be hit for 2975.


In short a m.defender using aura, vegarcepine, the inate defence mods in defender (damage done to a stacker with similar mods) with a PSG on will be hit for 2975 points of damage thats assuming the jedi has a total of 10000 armor + aura


Now would you please get out of the jedi forums. This has nothing to do with being invincible, it has to do with balance, anyone being able to hit another player for 7436 points of damage before armor, and then around 3000 after armor its plain unbalanced.

well. that guys a bitter bh running his mouth and telling jedi how to play. SO funny.

and two...jedi have alot further to go to get there as opposed to a two week grind. they deserve to be rewarded for all that work. No matter what you think or say. im sick of bhs thinking we should be equals when i know damn well we are not. if thats the case, make jedi take two weeks. give me everthing i ask for in exchange for all that time.

Were not supposed to be equals. and its not about being uber. its about giving me a reward for all that work. and i dont mean that youre a jedi thats it crap either. i swear, if soe actually did give us or powers back, i am going to troll the hell out of the bh forums.

if you get outta my range...i cloakan now i'm the one with the first strike ability for the next 2.5 minutes


you cant use the same tactics you used before...you actually have to be aware of your surroundings and adapt

cloak will be getting changed in the ranger revamp.

More than likley + you cannot cloak while in combat +

It actually has nothing to do with us not want to have risk. I love the risk. However the two points I will make are - 1) I like to have a fighting chance. 2) The risk was supposed to equal the reward. There are proffessions that out damage us and out heal us. Those proffessions can also wear armor so, the can defend as good if not better than us. Therefor we have little to view as a reward besides a glowing sword.

I know how to play my jedi, the guy that came for me yesterday sat down in front of me and triple paralyzed me. He was rifleman with a trando and didn't even have to kite me. Fight lasted about 20 minutes with me the eventual loser. I keep track of my numbers, he was number 61 to come after me, and my fourth loss out of those. I think it's great that squad leader has some power now and all that jazz and I wouldn't nerf that for the world, but I would kind of like some type of counter to the snares/roots. Full temp jedi (especially those with pre-CU pearls/sabers, and not flaming the post CU jedi) should be a tough fight against any BH IMHO, but this guy didn't even have to try. he fought me face to face and just ran me out of force, and I've never had trouble with the old MBH/MCM temps. One will come after you and you'll see.

Reason: The lack of multiplayer pve content and Star Wars feel.
For 3 years I have tried to find excuses to stay in game but only the expansions offered me what I subscribed for in the first place: A multiplayer Star Wars pve experience with friends around the globe. I found friends but with almost no addition of pve content they dropped out one by one. Now it's my turn.
