I really do think there needs to be a skill mod for the actual healing action. Both speed and effiencey. Right now, pretty much everything that is useful in healer is in one tree. Things need to be spread out more. This makes a master healer heal better than a dabbler.
Again, great ideas. I am sure the devs are looking at non jedi professions right now because many deserve an upgrade since they have been around a long time (many years) without any usefulness. I am sure once the chosen ones are looked at and enhanced that jedi will be next on this list. This makes sense, as more useful regular professions will be needed once the frs is releasedenabling some jedi to grow in power. If the frs was released now it would it wouldn't be pretty for the regular professions.....
I would imagine any jedi healer changes would be done slightly before the frs as well as changes to other jedi professions...

Thanks for your post. I hadn't realised someone had come up with some ideas along the same lines as I have. I was interested to see your ideas on the spefics on the individual healing numbers and force costs. When combined with the ideas I posted, I think it could really hone the Force Healer concept. I will sit down and see if I can do an edit to make a combination or something. Not sure if I want to be too specific with numbers, as really thats for something for Devs to work out - and more to the point specific numbersare too tempting for people to pick fault with, rather than looking at the total balance and concept for the profession.
Anyways, I will see what I can come up with over the next week.

Sadly I don't think the Devs care. What was once my favrite tree in this game ( I grabbed heal other line before I could heal myself lol ) is gone forever.
Leave Sap alone, stick an area heal in the heal other line, make states mean something, and make TOtal heal get rid of everything except Root. If it can be applied make it healable. That would be the true balance for CM.
I am willing to take any solution right now...

I agree with the post overall, but I wanted to QFE this little bit, becouse it captures how I feel 110%.

And preferabley let me earn jedi xp like the normal healers do - so I can heal for xp instead of having to kill things. I am a light side Jedi for a reason!
C'mon Devs.. read the post and others like it. Leave the other trees alone - they need not the nerf bat. Your time will be more constructive if you can fix by BOOSTING professions!

Sadly this was possible Pre-Publish 9. However the AFK rooftop Jedi ruined it for everyone else so I doubt it will ever be added back ![]()
I would like to see Master Healer get a Group Area heal, a reduction on both FC and Mind/Action Cost on Total heal.
I still dont' believe master Healers should have Rez as that should be a DOC skill but I wouldn't complain if they got one.
Both Regain Conciousness and Force Run nerfed so far they say.

Well I have to say, that as healing xp can only be awarded when fighting NPCs now, I dont see this as a problem - the same effect that stopped medics grinding doc afk in a med centre will also let us gain jedi xp for healing without risk of guild hall afk jedi grinders.
Just a thought...
