Thread: Looking for feedback on those with temp MLS/DEF 4440/ENH 3xx2/HEALER 4xxx
Can anyone tell me why MLS is better than MDef....at least when you compare it this way:
mdef, ls -444
mls, def 444-
I just don't understand., I only hit slightly faster, but i take alot more damage.
mls def 4440 3xx2 ehance, 4000 heal
im at at this template with 2 boxes to go, the last 2 in ranged defense
last night i was the tank in an aoe picket group,
was using some foods, and had to heal not very often. my saber is comparable to pathetic, 485 max dmg atm.
i was getting hit for 93 dmg a shot, against 81 pickets,
foods i used were
pickatta pie, and crispic, and possibly a steak if my ham got too low.
in some duels i've had at around 3220 defender the people couldn't even dent me, jedi or not.
its pretty much an all round template unless you wanna be a mhealer/enhancer ![]()

IMHO the choice between 4040 3402 and 4440 3002 is good either way. 5400 or 4200/8200. Granted the percentage differences are small, but on the same token you'll never see a serious BH in 5400 energy Ubese, you'll see the 8120 server-capped armor.

I believe my math is right. Any objections?
accaully it's not 33%more attacks, but 33% more damage. The attacks calculated were those that hit and aren't effected my defense stats. Which we all know really do effect the amount absorb. The 0400 line of ehancer won't give you the defense stats, but the 0400 line will.... So instead, while the bh will be hitting the FA user at full damage, he won't be hitting the defender as hard due to the range defense. Either way, the jedi with force armor will run out of force a little more than twice as fast.

This was a good post. However, I think "meager 4 more shots" is a bit overkill - you're talking 4 shots out of 12. Using those numbers it may be double the force cost, but it's 33% more attacks.

Duel me Clu ill prove ya wrong, you burn your force and use a holo before you defeate me
Force Armor is teh SUX..had it tested it for 2 months If its your only line of def i would say use it but other than that..like master healer. A waste of skill points.
Sap and Shock is ok for jedi with low end sabers, i would recomend it if your saber as you say..sucks. But for me it wasnt worth the investment.
Inate armor is free def, no force costForce armor uses a TON of force compared ito inate armor lines of defender 4400
Epaos is definately right here.Force Armor is great if you can defeat your oppenent in less than a minute. If it goes on beyond that you are screwed. You have to turn it off or you'll run out of force quick. No force = no attacks or heals = dead jedi. But then when you turn it off, you've just dropped half your defenses. In a jedi vs. jedi duel it comes down to who can outlast the other and I guarrantee someone with a 444x def template will outlast a 34x2/enh 4x4x/def template.
2 lines of Defender, great. That would be 0440. I can find better uses for a 3rd line though, unless you intend to go master.
