I did it by mistake. I actually wanted to be a moisture farmer on Tatooine.

At that point, it was a semi-accident.I had been trying out different profs to see what I liked then just finished up the few left to get Jedi (30th prof) - Then, there was nothing better to do.

At the time Jedi were rare and appealing. Further endgame as well.
