Gotta love the Canadian government for this. Alberta produces a lot of oil and cereal. Cereal is also very important because it's used to make beer, but that's another story.

We produce enough oil in alberta and in the central provinces to be self-suficient (spelling?). Meaning we COULD have really cheap gas here in Canada if we kept it for our own needs. But *no*, we sell it all to the US and other prople i'm not sure, and we buy what we need to use ourselvs. That way, the governement makes money selling the oil, makes money taxing the imports back, and taxes again when we buy it at the pump.

I feel like doing some math here, just for fun. Gas is taxed at close to 45% here, it's added to the price of the gas so it's half hidden. That means that 1$'s worth of oil costs me 1.45$. To have 1.45$ in my pocket, after all the income tax has been deducted from my salary, I need to earn 3.37$.

So, when I fillup my little civic and it costs me 40$, I actually have 11.87$'s worth of product, and 28.13$ in taxes.

I just explained earlier than North American oil is not the kind of fuel we use to power our cars. North American oil are heavy crude. You import them to us for our industrial plants, mills, and factories so you could profit from oil sales. Your country uses the oil too.

Light crude oil that is used in cars and trucks are imported from the Middle East and South America.

I dont know who told you this or where you read it but its incorrect.

Bush is trying to get the senate to pass the bill to let us tap into our reserves in Alaska. These reserves will produce upto 1 million barrels of oil per day. Granted we wont see this oil for 10 years so it will have very little impact on todays prices.

By doing this we are increasing our reserves not increasing our exports.

Still waiting on you Wizkid....

hmm you know too much.. expect a visit by men in black..

seriously.. the way I read it in the papers, our reserves of 700 billion (or million?)barrels are located in the salt caves in the south, not in Alaska.

Pardon the long delay. I just woke up. I'm a night worker, so I sleep morning to afternoon =P

The way it works is there are two types of oil..

"Sour" Heavy Crude oil. (High in Sulfur)
"Sweet" Light Crude oil. (Lower in sulfur)

The Heavy crude can be refined into "Sweet" or light crude oil that can be used in cars ect. Not many refineries are capable of doing this but they exist. Its all about the refinement process.

The light crude or "Sweet" oil doesn’t need as much refinement and is cheaper to produce. A lot of refineries are now getting equipped to deal with sour crude oil.

Clinton passed a bill not to long ago.. not sure, maybe 1991 or 92 that requires sweet oil to contain less sulfur (Teir 2) since then a lot of refineries are becoming equipped to deal with the sour oil.

Sweet oil can be found in Mississippi and Louisiana. Sour oil can be found in Alaska.

10 cents... heheh... But lets be real here....

Venezuela's market economy is dominated by its principal natural resource: oil. Before 1914 when venezuela's oil reserves were discovered they were poor as dirt.

Oil is 95% of the export that comes from venezuela. Of course its 10 cents a gallon, your country along with OPEC is getting rich on the rest of the world.

Yes, BUT Venzuela and the OPEC countries SHOULD get rich off the rest of the world. They were ALL dirt poor before oil was discovered and they will have NO resources once the rest of the world's energy hunger sucks up the oil.

These countries have a limited resource and will need to be spending that money on educating their populations such that they can join other countries in the services markets rather than the resource markets.

I personally can't blame them for getting what they can. It is about the only thing that they have to sell and it is a limited resource.

Gas is 12 dollars a gallon in the UK?

Didn't someone say they wanted to kill Venezuela's prez? Maybe I just imagined that.

hehe that would be might nice.....

Pat Robertson is a goon for saying that. I think that he should be dealt with in the same manner as the cleric that put the "death sentence" on Rushdie.

He (Robertson) needs to stop talking if he can't stop the statements that prove that he's a moron.

To answer your templet question. I have this Templet and LOVE it. But i will say that this templet is ALL about the saber.

If you have a perfect or near perfect saber you will love this temp. If you don't then you will be a little gimped.

This temp is all about an Aura / infusion macro and Improved force speed. This is the TANK temp. I have

tanked 3 level 84 NS and fought a 2 man BH team (pre pub 20) at the same time and killed them them all lol.

This temp is very open to a MBH / MCM temp but that where the perfect saber comes in handy lol

Hope this helps.

my saber is 350 base dps, would you call that good enough?

have all premiums in them ranging from 100-120 dmg and all above -.20 spd , -9s or -8s

not completely perfect but better then most

Well DPS really dont mean much. Your damage ranged is more important. If your saber is 700+ max damage then

you should have no trouble.

Agreed and we also export alot of machinery and other to them so its a nice balance.

I just think they kinda rob us blind if they are able to see fuel in there country for 10c a gallon and they charge us $3
