Incorrect. Jedi = PvP

Are Jedi forced to PvP? Essentially, since you can only control your vis rating to a certain degree.

Are you forced to be a Jedi? No, so there's no way you can say that you're beyond a doubt being forced to PvP. You have the option to not PvP, you just chose the wrong profession.

nothing wrong with putting up a chaseor running... some of the most memoriable moments in my favorite action movies is when one of the people involved in the conflict run ... would the french connection be as awesome if the assasin didnt run in the end .. making popeye chase him through the streets and trainsof manhattan ...

sure you may have not picked the best jedi template for battle .. well to battlecertain BH anyway ... but that doesnt mean much ... every dog has his day ... you may lose to one BH who beat a jedi who lost to you ... follow my logic? every template has its counter template ... enjoy the game .. run if you feel like it stand and fight if you feel like it ..

if someone talks trash .. take them for what they are... dirty scum ...

although this is a game, who says we cant live it as if it were real life ..our goal shouldnt be for position and "PVP rank" ... it should be about experiencing FUN and or FUNNY things ...

the best or most funfight ive ever had with a jedi was a chase which took place across two cities ... and the tides turned many times ...

I love BH visits. It makes the game fun for me, never knowing when I'll have to pvp. Unlike almost all overt encounters,there is a 97% percent chance it will be a 1vs1 and I know he has an inferior template so what more can youaskyou for? I died many times to them until I got over the hump in my temp and started winning every single time and I love it. You would be surprised by the reaction you get most times by bull rushing them as soon as you see them.If they have my mission (i duel them to check) and if they do and are not making a move I talk mad trash until they do (the smart ones just leave and get another mission). Now there are a few that can kill me, but very few and I think thats just aboutright. And even the weaker ones have a chance to catch me fighting something else and win but that is when I do run if I can. When I get force bar back up I send tells offering to settle the dispute once and for all. And by fighting almost all bh I have become4x the pvp'er I was before.

If you have FR2/3why not at least fight somewhen you can flee at any point anyways? You will get some /deathblows on them and if it gets hairy just leave. Many BH's are just plain noobs and have no ideahow to go on the defensive anyways and if you say they don't lose anything, they do. You hurt their feelings as evidenced by no response from /tell's. I know I have caused some hurled mousepads and imediate /logout's,

Since the first rumblings of Jedi info came out waaaaaaay back in Beta, it was said that being a Jedi would be a difficult life. It said that you would be hunted. It said it would not be easy, by any means. This is one of the last things that keeps everybody (though evidently not yourself) from being a Jedi. Most people who don't like to PvP accept that Jedi is a PvP-based profession, and then use basic logic that probably goes something like this:

Thought: "I don't like to PvP."

Observation: "Becoming a Jedi makes you PvP."

Conclusion: "I shouldn't become a Jedi."

I dont understand why you guys cant grasp the concept of risk vs reward vs time spent.

why should i bother to fight you?

I have nothing against you coming after me, but i chose not to return the favor. You see, you wish to engage in a fight with me, either to prove uberness(for some), for credits(for others), or just for the pvp(for those scared to go overt), or a combo of the 3. and thats fine, its a valid playstyle that is returned by many.

However, I get nothing from winning, not a thing other than the screenshot, and yet another person on my ignore list if you are rude about my choice. so why bother?

1) I'm not sure if I was included in the "you guys," but I shouldn't be. I'm a Jedi, not a BH.

2) I have no problem with Jedi running from BH's. I do it myself. In many cases we're overpowered.Being able to tellwhen you're not going to make it is a very important skill to have. Which do you value more? Your pride or your hard-earned XP?

So you don't unlock another character you can do whatever you want with with in addition to your Jedi character allowing you to have twice as many professions as anybody else on the same server as well as avoid forced PVP?Maybe that was just another myth started by the other bounty hunters.

Why does this irk me? Simple, the xp you get now is absolutely insane. Hard-earned? Nope. The only people who had an easier grind were the Warren campers...and heck, even they had more risks than you.
