Can I ask an honest question? What did you know about jedi in this game before grinding it out? Did you know any jedi? Did you come here and read the forums before unlocking?
It just seems odd that you are so opposed to one of the only things that make our profession exciting and unique. I know that jedi in the movies and books did things differently than they are done here, but that is what makes this a game and not a historical re-enactment.
Do you plan in participating in the FRS so you can get your Knight title? Isn't that forced pvp as well? Or will that be the new outcry from the Jedi community?
I am hoping that you understand that Bounty Hunters are only a minor part of the grander scale of PVP in the Jedi profession.

Last night our group was interupted by a bh attack. BH killed two of his mark's swoops then stupidly decided to use his barc, at which point the mark closed the distance surprisingly fast and ruined the barc. Ah, that was a good laugh!!! In the end, the mark got to a house and logged out. Hope it was worth the time and cost for a barc repair kit, only to lose his mark.
Absolutely absurd how out of control healing/stims are... This silly encounter took an hour or more and still neither came close to dieing. I kept whistling benny hill chase theme...
I will give this bh props for quietly going about his business and not trash talking at all, in spatial at least.

there is absolutly NO forced PvP in this game. and if you want to play the game sitting in a house then do so, it's your $15 a month. most would spend it wisely and play the game the way it was meant to be played instead of crying until they turn this game into SW: Care Bears Online...
do you just hunt bounties, or do you actually go overt once in a while?

Neo is a good guy.....cant say that Ioften ran into him but yes, like me, he is overt when he is online . .

To the original poster...
BH's is a template that can be ground out in a few days... They are not 1.5x stronger than a normal profession... They did not go through hologrind, or village quests, or millions of xp and loss of xp to finish their template... so exactly why is it you think they should lose anything?
When we chose to become jedi we chose to PvP, to be hunted, to lose xp, etc so we could be different... If you can't handle that, you should drop your jedi skills and force sensitive skills and go back to marksman.
On the other side of the fence, we are not required to lay down and die for them... we are not their God given content and if you would prefer to run and waste their time, then by all means do so... Some days I fight and slaughter them, other days I run them around like poodles in the street and then disappear... it just depends on your mood...
You are not the hunted, they would just like you to think you are... If you use your skills and brain, you can turn the tables into them being cattle coming to the slaughter...

and yes, ive heard it all before, didnt care then, dont care now. i choose to play my jedi, and i choose to cloak away from pvp until there is a reason not to. I also choose to giggle at BH hate tells calling me whatever because i dont feel like having an hour long fight with the same template over and over and over and over and over and over and over again.

i actually signed up & pay to play a game, not be someone else's content.
what needs ot happen is a on leave 'opt-in' system for bh pvp just like every other pvp in the game.
as more and more of the game's population (you know, the 'carebears' who don't want to pvp) become jedi, the argument for forced pvp grows weaker. make it opt in, or remove the xp loss. let the jedi who want to pvp continue to pvp, and let the other play their character (pve) like they want.
