hey joshai,
lightsaber is 2handed weapon!
its not a 1handed or polearm!
its just plain 2handed sword, and also a maul..
and by the way.. we can poision and disease the JEDI MASTER! from 60m away!
Master Combat Medic , rockss..
Yes all high and mighty one who knows more about Jedi than everyone else.
Actually, the double edged saber qualifies as a polearm.
BTW, what about the /saberthrow1 ability?
The devs didn't include a crafting tree simply because it would take up an entire branch that could have been used for other things. My guess is that each "level of Jedi" initiate, knight, master, etc. gives youa bonus to lightsaber crafting.
Thanks Khaoz. One of re real main reasons why I left out saber-throw is because KGJV's list only had saberthrow2 on it. I wasn't really sure where it might even fit in, because none of the skill block descriptions talked about it, but like you said, it could be flawed. After all, this is only an interpetation of the KGJV info. I could probably come up with a few other methods to have structured the trees and have them still make sense.
So I guess essentially it is speculation with a level-headed amount of info.
It would be essentially the same thing as trying to construct a skill tree of a new profession after being given only the skill commands and the skill block descriptions...actually...that is exactly what it is.
Nice post
And KG isnt lying, he isn't the only one who can see that file
Wow man lots of work into that. Good Job!
I have one thought though. From what i've read I had the understanding that one must first build their force sensitivity, then progress up the Jedi skill tree.
"We will say that really the core of it is becoming Force Sensitive. Once you become Force Sensitive your progression through the Jedi ranks is pretty straight forward and follows a lot of the rules we've established already for some of our other skill systems."
"Jedi is classified as a profession, since we've taken Force powers and grouped them into skill sets, that can only be accessed once you've followed in Luke's footsteps."
"I think we've already said that the Jedi system utilizes the skill system mechanics. The skill system doesn't influence how you become Force sensitive, however - the Jedi disciplines are only available once you've reached that point"
Haden, March 2002
"I would guess that it will take most players months just to get a Force sensitive character, and after that, several months to succeed at getting to Jedi Knight—assuming they don’t die on the way."

Just some things to think of on the structure of Force abilities and Jedi skills.
