I NEVER PvP. Period. I will NEVER PvP. Period. I HATE PvP. Period. Outside of the occasional BH hunt, WHICH I accept FULLY as part of canon, this Jedi will NEVER PvP.

Well yeah, but what are your thoughts on PvP?

I simply don't PvP. I'm 100% PvE.

I've only had a total of about 10 BH come after me since I became Jedi 5 months before the CU (all my attacks came after the CU).

So my ratio's a bit skewed. Despite 100% being BH, I still don't get attacked much from them.

Why then, might I ask, did you become a Jedi?

PvP as a Jedi is a Neccessary Evil. I became Jedi because I want to PvE with my Jedi. If BH comes with the territory, then I'll just teachthem not to bother me again, then go back to PvE'ing.

Judging from your past post history (content-wise) and mine, I dont think you qualify to name me "troll".

I have posted one time outside of the Jedi forums. So, no, to be troller you must be posting where you don't belong (i.e. the wrong profession, and negatively against them). I am a 100% pro-Jedi poster and I post in my forum. Occasionally I will use satire, but only to make the case for Jedi. If I want to complain about another profession, I'll do it right here, in my forum. I won't go to your forum to trash you...that's trolling...got it?

Actually, everybody can post anywhere he wants as long as it is constructive and helpful. There is no forum that a player "belongs", but there are posts that belong or dont belong in certain forums.
Lets take this thread as an example: Marrow comes in, tries to start a survey of the types of combat encounters Jedi have, and somebody else steps in flaming him for another post. Neither helpful nor constructive to the topic of this thread. All answers to this flaming post (mine and yours) are also trolling.
See another example for trolling here. No new points made, fitting for the GAT maybe, but not matching the topic of the thread, just cluttering up other information.

There is no exact definition of a "troller", I checked Brittanica, just opinions. I would contend that most people agree with my definition:

Someone who is bashing another profession outside of their forum (i.e. a BH posting "Jedi suck" in a Jedi forum, which will encite anger and retaliation) ...in most cases, just to further the cause of their own interests or to be annoying.

Changing the topic and/or adding clutter often occurs by Trollers, but not always.

Our thread is a clear example. BTW...I was just kidding originally...I do not classifyyou as a flaming troller, because you refrain from blowing smoke up my a*s, you just address your points clearly. I do consider you to be "pro-troller" however, because a Doctor Correspondent bashing a Jedi to me is just a bizzare example as the flaming should not be occuring from a correspondent. He knew it would encite specific anger given his role, and he still chose to post negatively (not this post of course, the one that KRAKEN666 was referring to from the day before) If nothing else, it shows bad judgement. A smart person like you should understand that.

These are very strange results! You pvp guys agree that you fight at least 10 times more non BH/Jedi professions than BHs, and that is the strange part as BHs make up well over 50% of the non jedi population - does that mean BHs just don't pvp at all? Which might make sense because they are all out doing their Bill Gates bounties all day long and have no time to pvp

For those of you who are full templates I was wonder what % of your PvP encounters do you wind up fighting:

A. Jedi vs Jedi

B. Jedi vs BH

C. Jedi vs other non-Jedi besides BH.

For my Jedi, I would say that the A:B:C ratio is about 50:1:10, meaning I fight about 50 Jedi for every one BH or 10 nonJedi.

I ask this question because I see so many BH vs Jedi post that it makes me think that this encounter is happens to everyone all the time but for me, it has been very rare.

I PvP often so mybe that it why my numbers are skewed to the Jedi vs Jedi as that seems to be the majority of PvP players. I suppose if you only PvE'ed then you numbers would be more skewed to BH. If that is the case then maybe it would be better to state how often (#/wk) you get attacked by a BH. My guess is that it would be less than once a week on average.

That's about right. I'm pretty much the same. However I have seen an increase in BHs over the past week or so.

A. Jedi vs Jedi fairly rarely thanks to my unequal Master Force Wielder template
B. Jedi vs BH I enjoy this type of PvP and I average 3 to 6 visits a day each time I log on and have not lost yet
C. Jedi vs other non-Jedi besides BH. I love to assasinate unsuspecting non Jedi special forces
