This is how I feel also. On my server, there is no real reason to PvP. Its just too darned boring for me. No techniques are EVER effective. You will either be ganged up on, and then there will be a 20vs20 fight, or you will end up getting hate tells, hate threads or anything else that people can think of to say that you are a bad person for doing something.
Case in point......People on my server b!tch and complain daily when you take out a PvE base while being combatant. They even tried to have an agreed upon rule that ALL bases (PvE, PvP) had to be taken while Special Forces ONLY. PvP is too childish in my eyes. Maybe bring back a Permadeath type system while Special Forces so that people dont just run right into a 1vs20 fight just because there are no repercussions.
Boring and no point in PvP. Same as the GCW. No real reason to participate in it.
BTW....My Jedi hasnt been attacked by a BH in a few weeks. So now there really isnt any reason to even play this game at all.....havent seriously played the game for about a week and I am not missing it in the least.

And I am overt practically all day when I play. Except for when I go Krayt hunting.
Even when I am overt I am fighting other overt MBHs that just don't happen to have my mission, as far as encounters with BHs that do have my mission I have on average 4-5 a day. There are a couple that know how to play their profession (MBH/MCM of course) that I have a 50% chance of beating or less (Although I haven't died cause I'll run.)
And there is one person, with such good armor, such a good weapon, and a PSG, plus great tactics that I will not be able to beat unless I have a speed capped saber. -40 combat speed debuff is just too strong to let me get any kind of damage in before they can throw a heal.
I can tell you, the professions are so stacked against a full template Jedi that if I could fathom any more grinding I would not be playing him at all. It is definitely a 1:1 power ratio between Jedi and regular professions, between an MSwords/Mdoc or an MBH/MCM with good equipment I would say they have 50% more power than we do because of that combat speed debuff.
Then again CMs have ALWAYS been overpowered, so maybe that won't change, but maybe they'll get a nice nerf someday.

I have posted one time outside of the Jedi forums. So, no, to be troller you must be posting where you don't belong (i.e. the wrong profession, and negatively against them). I am a 100% pro-Jedi poster and I post in my forum. Occasionally I will use satire, but only to make the case for Jedi. If I want to complain about another profession, I'll do it right here, in my forum. I won't go to your forum to trash you...that's trolling...got it?

For my Jedi, I would say that the A:B:C ratio is about 50:1:10, meaning I fight about 50 Jedi for every one BH or 10 nonJedi.
I ask this question because I see so many BH vs Jedi post that it makes me think that this encounter is happens to everyone all the time but for me, it has been very rare.
I PvP often so mybe that it why my numbers are skewed to the Jedi vs Jedi as that seems to be the majority of PvP players. I suppose if you only PvE'ed then you numbers would be more skewed to BH. If that is the case then maybe it would be better to state how often (#/wk) you get attacked by a BH. My guess is that it would be less than once a week on average.
