Did you have to work hard at getting your wife to love you and marry you, I know I did. According to your logic, a wife should be free if one throws enough money at them. Your logic of getting a free jedi is severly flawed.
If I have to explain to you the difference between, playing a video game and becoming Jedi, and marrying someone, then you really are confused.
Its not all that confusing, both of them include giving up other things you enjoy, your life, and your friends for something that wasnt all that great to begin with. Theyre pretty similar really.
WOW! I don't know who you married, but I gave up nothing and my life is MUCH better now so I don't think our marriages compare at all. One is REAL and the other is a stupid VIDEO GAME, that was the point I was trying to make.
I'm saying that they should stopchanging therules, andgive casual veteran player the chance. Really, you're all makingmejust want toquit this thing altogether.
Read the EULA you agree to everytime you log onto the game. They explain in detail that they can change the game whenever they want.
So you won't mind if they do what I am proposing.

If one thread makes you want to quit, then maybe you should? would save you those couple hours a week you waste on this game.
Note: the rules to unlock Jedi haven't changed in well over a year... what was the problem again?
NOT TRUE! They changed the conversion ratios at the CU. Thereby slowing people down even more.

LOL if they do not fix SWG by then that game will deliver a DB to SWG. Server mergers will happen then we will become another matrix sold to another company to try and fix.
I say give him a jedi!So he then can whine about the xp amounts in jedi... if he cant even get past the village lol imagine what he will do with jedi.. lol
Xwing guy i dont like the CU and pretty much burned out on grinding my jedi so im taking a little break while being about 2/3 away from full temp.. and im a casual gamer now mabey 4 to 6 hours a week and a few weeks ago i started a 2nd FS toon went from CL 1 to CL 80and to village then just unlocked my first branch and did a little grinding(wich is funner non jedi cause you dont have to watch radar so much) and i figure if i stick around ill have jedi #2 around summer time at this pace. ill remind you that will also include finishing my current jedi temp.
So as the vets say jedi is way too easy to get what makes it hard or seems like its hardis all the waiting for it wich only happens the first time. but mabey you just have not grasp the basic and simple mechanics of the game in your time here!!!!!

I have played this game now since the original launch(and the beta before that). I am not a hardcore player(maybe 3 to 4 hours a week max) and it is not fair to players like myself who pay just as much money as anyone else to play this game that they keep changing thepath to Jedi!First Idid my holos and it took months, then they decided to change it; then after getting 2 force branches I started to grind a ridiculous amount of xp and then guess what!!! THEY CHANGED IT! Now the exchange ratio for fp is even worse! I'm not saying they should let everyone get Jedi but maybe the players who were in it from the beginning, before mounts and vehicles, when you had to run everywhere! Give them 1 force sensitive slot soguys like myselfdon't have to spend another year working towards jedi only to find out they changed it all again!
WHO'S WITH ME?!!!!!!!
/agree
Vet reward is a cool idea but really the system should be modified so that casual players can attain it also. Most of us have RL to work around and can't put 4hrs a day into grinding a character. There is no reason that a casual player shouldn't be able to play a Jedi.
I have no complaints, i'm in the middle of the grindand i don't mind. it gives me something to work toward.

Now its people like this who complain and complain that creates the fact that Jedi are so weak because "its not fair" wah wah wah bs, you want something, then work at it, and right now jedi isnt even worth getting really unless you've got some untuned premium pearls from pre-cu laying around

2 hours a day! Do you people hear youselves? That's at least 14 hours a week, that would be like a whole Saturday to me! I'm sorry I love my wife too much to say "honey, I can't spend time with you, I'm working for Jedi!" I really don't wan to have to say it, but "get a life" does come to mind.
I love my wife too, but I have a Jedi.
My job is demanding, several deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan, sometimes 18 hour work days, but I have a Jedi.
I started in the holo-days, went through the change, but I have a Jedi.
Look, if you want a jedi that bad, save your money that you are giving to SOE for about 6 months and then get one off of Ebay. I usually do not condone ebay jedis but you really, really need a Jedi.
If they do make Jedi a veteran reward it should be for nothing lees than 5 year vet reward.

Ummm, no. I am a vet (/get vet is 814) and I just unlocked about two weeks ago. Do the grind or stay behind. No freebies!!
So you're saying that the money I pay Sony to play this game is not valid at all! It's all on merit? Please guys.
If you want to buy a jedi then you need to maybe try ebay dude.
