I wish the jedi system would roll back to the perma death/regenerating 1 kill a week method and to the old templates, where you just had all the jedi skills aviable.

All of us pre9 jedi are lucky. We Had the opportunity to play jedi when it was worth something. These new padawans will never know the power we once held. Let them continue to b!tch about pearls and tell us how it's not so bad. At least we have the memories
By the way beautiful post. Need to add that green day song in the back ground

jedi is nothing now but a proff. with a cool looking weapon (which gets old) it used to be based on skill and now its based on money (jedi tapes). The absolute worst thing they did was put jedi skill tapes in this game, well that and root.

Did you ever stop to think that some of us "younglings" WANTED to experience the hardships? Some of us got SCREWED by Pub 9 and were forever thrown into the loop of stupid meaningless quests that prolonged their journey by a year and made them end up finally reaching their goal of jedihood in the age of weakness and pestilence? We had no chance to enjoy the age of the jedi, when jedi was once a great thing.

Well, your website had me thinking to myself, "Wow, what a great history of the evolution of the Jedi profession..." right up until I clicked on the link at the end.
Too bad you had to debase yourself and the Jedi profession as a whole by turning it into a rant against post-CU paddies and your perception of their attitude.

Don't YOU even get tired of your whining? It seems that many of you have a very selective memory. Of course, Jedi was hard to unlock and grind, but if you want the rest of SWG believe that ALL of you discovered Jedi as individuals without any hints, tips, holocrons,help from friends and forums, etc. you're lying. This "we were as pure as the driven snow" crap is absolutely sickening.
The ONLY difference between Pre-Jedi grind and Post-Jedi grind is that you ground it out earlier. To pretend that you didn't take advantage and use EVERY means availableto grind Jedi out as fast as possible is ridiculous. Are you saying that if SOE offered double XP back then that you would NOT have played and evenpetitioned SOE to stop double XPor you would cancel your account? What was fight club for then? It's your lie...you stick with it.
Get real, you hate it because all of your previous groupies are gone. They now have Jedi characters and no longer "bathe" in your uberness. That the class has been nerfed is true, but why? Because YOU Pre-CU Jedi didn't know how to act. You talk about "Let's curb the Jedi profession population" (so long as it isn't your Jedi) It was YOU guys/gals that started the showboating at the starports. It was you guys that abused the powers that SOE gave the Jedi and caused many of the nerfs we have today. It was you farming all of the pearls causing the Devs to take another look at the drops that are now gone.
So get your heads out of your fourth point of contact and realize that YOUR generation of Jedi is responsible for many of the lingering affects that we have today. Lastly, just because you bought the game, prof grinded, and made it to fight club before others bestows no special (and shouldn't)rights to you.
Your time would be much better spent getting over yourselves, than whining about the "good old days" when you walked barefoot to the Jedi academy uphill both ways in 6 feet of snow with no shoes. I for one have no sympathy for you.
