So lets recap, why dont we just give you terrain negotiation + 100 , Defense vs Dizzy + 100 , and exclude you from all TEF things and let you have free reign over everything in the game.

Funny how the comment form the devs "it's supposed to be hard" negates any and all feedback. That's just not reality or fair. In reality people are envious of Jedi and the people that are lucky enough to have the slots and throw this line back "it's supposed to be hard" as if it's somehow justification for ANTHING wrong with the class.
Hell, I guess Jedi is perfect and need no changes at all. Maybe after 33 professions, they got it right the first time! WHAT A CONCEPT!
So what's more likely...it's perfect as is, or it might have an issue or two?

Forceismypath is the latter. Can you honestly tell me, and anyone else, that jedi should be able to just wave lightsabres around in the air and not have a care in the world?
Remember this game is set between ANH and ESB.... Jedi are HUNTED AND ARE IN SECRET. Im sure ifobiwan was hunting wamp rats with his lightsabre vader would have discovered him sooner.

Getting a TEF for force powers - fine. Vader can sense that, right?
Drawing a saber in town. Fine, get a TEF.
Why should you get one for simply using your saber in the middle of nowhere and no players see you? Would Luke get a TEF for turning on the saber in Ben's hut? No.
It's just too much considering how hard Jedi already is.

WHo cares ifyou have a TEF? People who want to kill you. Now, where must people who want to kill you be? THat's right, within sight range of you. Now, everyone can agree you should get a TEF For being seen using a saber, yes? THen what's the difference? Are you worried about that 1 in 10,000,000 chance you'll finish a fight, have 2 minutes left on your TEF and the entire empire will drop down in shuttles ?

Exactly. One way is fair, one is not. It's actually consistent with the timeline/movies to not get a TEF unless you are using a saber and within X meteres of a player and they have a chance of seeing you. That would be a reasonable tradeoff, and may even act as an early warning system. All of which makes sense.
But I forgot...it's supposed to be hard and you're lucky to have a slot, so stop whining.
No, what worries us is that we like to hang out on planets that are incredibly difficult for the solo player. So you won't likely find 1 LONE PLAYER roaming around, it will likely be CHs and players with AT STs. Point is, why do you get a TEF when you never saw me doing the act that incurred my TEF?
If you can answer me this, then I will surrender my point.

To the Jedi out there, I feel pretty bad for ya, I wouldnt even bother posting here. People keep saying you dont deserve slots, your whining ect ect. I thinks its total BS that you should go through all that work for a bugged proffession. Everyone here flamin the ones who unlocked jedi just cause they cant do it themselves should just **edit**. How many other proffessions are still bugged? At least they've had a chance to be balanced and fixed. I'm happy you guys keep trying to get the bugs known, because someday I will unlock my sloteven if it takes mastering every proffession. Yes it's supposed to be hard, hell getting jedi itself is a daunting task. I sure as hell don't want to finally get my slot only to never be able to advance due to lack of any defenses.
To all the Jedi haters, spend more time working towards your slot, less time envious of those who have it. This was one of the last places in the forums people could go to actually read constructive posts instead of flamewars.
