Mace Windu is my favorite, then Obi.

Mace Windu was an awesome duelist. He took Palpatine down and would have killed him if he wouldn't have trusted a fellow Jedi. Just as strong as Yoda in the Force.

windu>anakin

mace's fighting style channeled dark energies from the opponent and deflected them back...note the lightning. The more hateful his opponent, the stronger mace was. Anakin on the other hand, did his best fighting when he was really pissed off. He mastered the power of rage...definately tieing to the dark side. Since Mace's fighting style would directly combat Anakin's mesays mace would have beaten him.

I can't tell anyone is wrong when they choose their "Favorite" because it's up to them who they like more, but i have to jump in when i see something that is flat out false.

Palpatine was never in any danger with Mace Windu & especially when he had no saber was he in any danger.Just like he was never in danger when he let his guard down and was begging basically, for Luke Skywalker to strike him down.

Mace Windu had a 4 on 1 against Palpatine & couldn't do a thing against him untill Anakin shows up & at that moment is when Palpatine loses his lightsaber.Coincidence,nope.The whole purpose in the act Palpatine gave after he killed those 3 other Masters was to not only Play Mace for a fool, but also Skywalker.Palpatine needed Anakin there to see what he did so he could force him to make the "choice" & join him.

In the novel,it even states that Mace was using the Darkside in his encounter with Palpatine & Anakin felt that.

It's the other way around.Yes,Mace was acting as a conduit in his encounter with Palpatine/Sidious,but he was also dabbling in the darkside as well with his Vaapad or so the novel says.

In fact, the person who was getting stronger as the encounter went on was Palpatine/Sidious.He used his own lightning to fuel his rage & turn into his true form.It wasn't like Mace was the Master Powers user tossing lightning on Palpatine,it was Palps who kept going on with it after it got deflected.

If Mace Windu could've ever have defeated Palpatine/Sidious to bring the force back into balance, then there would've been no need to bring about the "Chosen One".

Eh, Qui-Gon Jinn is my favorite Jedi.

  • He has a green saber. Green is the king of all colors.

  • He's tall. Tall people rock.

  • He's in Episode I. For some strange, unexplained reason, I really like Episode I.

  • I like his hair.

Nah......Qui-Gon Jinn is the 1st persson ever in all Jedi History to retain his identity after death & this has a HUGE impact on how things turn out for the Saga.

Qui-Gon Jinn was what a Jedi was suppose to be.He was a servant of the Force, not a Goverment or the old Jedi rules. He would listen to "it's Will" & follow it without question to serve it,unlike Yoda & the rest of the Jedi Order in EP1 through ep3...

The Jedi had become too complacent & never adapted to the change of the Galaxy around them. They would have been better served if they followed their old friend Qui-Gon's ways. They would also have been better served if they would've learned from their own "Chosen One" as he was sent there to them to teach them to learn instead of them just thinking he must learn from them. The Jedi Order had just as much to learn from Anakin as he had to learn from them, but that didn't happen & as Yoda said,he failed them,he failed himself.

In fact,in the novel of Revenge of the Sith(as well as pointed out slightly in the movie),Qui-Gon Jinn becomes Yodas Master & Obi-Wans & is with them as they are in hiding.....Helping them to unlearn, what they have learned.

    What he said.

Quote

"The Palpatine character was the most artificial--it was as if they had grafted his face and put in his eyes.Because the real Palpatine is the one who bursts forth at a calculated moment in Episode III just after persuading Anakin to kill Mace Windu. That is when the true person comes out, letting the evil fully maifest itself. The Emperor that you see in the last film looks like he does because he's very old and very evil--it is what he always looked like.He just had this carapace of looking like a fairly ordinary guy, a politician that smiled a bit, and so on."

Ian McDiarmid

I forgot to add that last bit to further my point on how Windu was played big time, just like the rest of the galaxy.

Poster ookokorrafaa,Thanks & i agree about Ep1.I actually thought Ep1 was better than ep2 IMO

I think that Kamen is my favorite jedi hands down . He is as smart as yoda. and has the skills of palpatine and anakin. He is the leetness.

LOL jk . Anakin is great . But he lets his anger get the best of him . We see him doign it as vader. Maul never gets angry . He jsut does his job.

Darth Sideous, no one even comes close. He is the strongest force user of his time and he is a political genius. He did not even need the force to take over the galaxy (unless you count the fight with Master Windu which scared him and gave proof of the jedi's corruption to the senate) I even built my template after him..well as close as I could get with onlt 250 skill points LOL.

Ya.Darth Sidious has the unfair advantage of being able to use 500 points while everyone else must use the 250...Although Highly ranked Jedi like Kenobi,Anakin & Yoda don't have to waste 24 skill points in the Force sensative trees because they are just naturals & they get themselves at least a full extra tree filled up because of it
