To the 2nd poster, Yes Obi was a padawan at the time, but remember that Maul had just killed qui'gon 2 min earlier, a Jedi Master.

Maul is my favorite Dark Jedi, and Obi Won is my favorite Light jedi. Overall favorite jedi? Obi'won.

Kit Fisto was looking kinda cool in AOTC but let the side down when he pwn'd by Sidious in ROTS.

Luke was favourite for along time, for his Rockyesque come back in ROTJ after getting pwn'd by vader in ESB. In the EU he goes on to be even more kick a** .

Although if the rumours are true and Aylaa Sec'ura is going to be in the TV series then she is gonna win the title of comeback kid after the ganking she got by the clones....

Although the favourite for oozing sheer jediness (sic!) has got to be Obi-wan for the following reasons.

1. He pwn'd Darth Maul when he was still a paddy.

2. He would of pwn'd dooku if Anakin had followed instructions instead of charging in like a noob in AOTC.

3. He pwn'd the Acklay with a such style that we should all bow to his greatness.

4. He pwn'd Grevious with a blaster, after totally humilating him with a saber even tho Grevious was using an exploit letting him quad wield....

5. And finally when the real work had to be done, He dismembered three of the "chosen" dork limbs in one go and left the noob whining on the floor....OMG OMG OMG I HATE YOU!!!!!! YOU DIRTY XPLOITER! I AM SO GOING TO PWN YOU NEXT TIME!!!!! OMG OMG OMG

and for an encore.....

6. He was just so calm and collected he let vader beat him because he felt it would benefit the plot.

So OBI WAN for teh win

The best jedi/sith lordof all time was anakin skywalker not the strongest but defintely the most style. Did yal see his march wit the clones lol. And his swift fighting style when he fought obi-wan spinning his saber behind his back. i wish i could get him in a spin group lol

but my second fav is lord sids cant no one is starwars match he ownz the entire galaxy lol

Well...

Obi wan is admirable, yet dishonest and not as wise as he pretends to be.

Yoda is powerful and the opitome of a Jedi, by the book and to the letter. And those qualities make me question his real character, because a true Jedi is quite cold and emotionless. I still like Yoda because he does have a sense of humour.

I don't like Mace Windu, and never have. I will admit I never read about him in any books, but his character in the movies portrayed a Jedi Master with too much anger and personal motives. He should have never wanted to kill Sidious immediately. He should have arrested him (or attempted to), being a member of the Council, knowing better than letting fear or anger cloud his judgement. Something tells me he is habitually too quick to kill for a Jedi.

Quai Gon was a bit more of a realist, willing to bend the rules when necessity demanded it. He was too much of a pacifist in his manner though and not the best warrior out there (for a Jedi).

Anikan was a putz. It took being burned alive and chopped up by his old master to wake him up to reality, and make him grow up. Unfortunately for the Jedi, he was firmly in the Sidious' hand at that point and couldn't use his newfound wisdom to serve good.

His son luke was also a putz. He did grow up a bit in the end, but was still not much of a Jedi. Personally, the way his character was, I cannot understand why he was able to resist the darkside, he seemed to be an easy target for Vader and Sidious.

I guess I will include Sith and Dark Jedi.

Dooku was a bozo. He was powerful at persuasion and manipulation, but he apparently thought this power extended into his physical abilities, which it did not. He barely held Anikan and Obi-wan at bay and fought them one at a time anyway. Not very impressive for a dark jedi master. His duel with Yoda was pathetic. Yoda could have finished him in short order, but Dooku took the coward's way out. Too slick and oily to even seem like a Jedi.

Maul was more of a brute. A Sith tough who did his Master's bidding. He didn't have much of a character. He was as interesting as a saber-wielding robot when it comes down to it. Deadly, dangerous, scary....but nothing more. I don't like him at all.

Sidious is impossible to like. Even if you like the Empire and the Dark side, he is a politician and manipulator to the bone. He's like a modern politician and dark jedi master rolled into one. Nobody likes a politician.

Vader...hands down the best of them all. Powerful in the force, powerful fighter, powerful in his mere presence. A man who could walk into a room and instill fear amongst friends and foe alike. He truely was Anikan Skywalker no longer. He was the opposite. If anything, he was the truest character in the series. Where others contradicted themselves constantly and left you questioning what everyone's motives were half the time, Vader was like a stone. You know how he would react to every situation. Someone talking smack? Choke em out. An old Jedi master bumps into you? A few quick words and saber time...less talk more attack. Your long lost son come to confront you? Beat his sorry butt like the putz he is and then, being the good Dark Father you are, offer hima place at your side.

If I have to pick a light Jedi, I will pick Yoda because I still remember seeing him when I was a kid in the movie theatre, and I loved him then, but overall, I'm a Vader fan.

HI all

I cant really say who i like more in starwars universe but if really had to say something i would say qui gon and yoda.
First of why not obi wan?Obi wan rules on episode I against darth maul...was the best ls fight i saw on starwars movies in my eyes..but on episode II against count duko he was just a joke..and that paticular fight against count duko betwen obi wan and anakin was POJO!We can see anakin stoping his moves waiting for the stroke in his arm..(you can easly see this)

I must say that i would choose those 2 but i belive that either darkside or light side of the force are extreme positions of the force thus creating unbalance..therefore i belive the Gray jedi..the one that is not darkside or lightside and uses powers from both...that as no dogmas and uses his powers to the good what i would choose.

By the way i wish that side could be implemented in the game..a kind of Gray side of the force..midle term..And also that light side should have a diferent force progression way then the darkside.

Big Conehead FTW!! Seriously though, I enjoyed playing as him in Jedi Power Battles on Dreamcast.. and read comic series on him which was cool. For some reason they changed his purple lightsaber to blue.... which made me mad.

well 1st probably be Revan from the KOTOR games the dark version leading all the jedi into war and returning to crumble the republic to easily then (my way) killing his apprentice and making the republic and that little yoda wannabe blow up in a firey death =)

2nd Vader the movie left out so much of the killing he did made me get a little frustrated that i waited til may to watch him just kill kids and not even get to see that he supposibly killed paddys,knights, and a few masters guarding the temple the clones got pwned but still helped in the way they could and lost to obi cause of this THE HIGH GROUND bs lol anyone should be the noob it be obi had to run from anakin the whole fight til he had a little cheating advantage ahh well he turned into vader and still continued his purge by searching planets and killing jedi on them the movie made him look weak Buzz wrong try again =P
